Jobs like Roofing and Serving will allow them to make and bank good money. I personally think that these kids are just being grade 10 high school kids and they'll get their reality check. In fact, my friend, I am a full-time waiter and I have served many educated people who have the common sense of a nail.

The key is to keep the kids entertained WHILE teaching them. Be funny, make them laugh, but don't make it boring if you're not going to do it with an iron fist... or some abstract threat of doom like my Math teacher last year had. Nobody said a word unless we were spoken to the WHOLE year, but he was a nice guy.

Well, then you'd be happy with my policy because I wouldn't want you in my class the same as you wouldn't want to be there. Your seat would be better served with a student that can utilize knowledge. The FIRST thing a parent should do when they hear their kid was acting out is beat the child. Then apologize to the teacher for THEIR KID'S POOR BEHAVIOR.

A teacher and my child, BOTH have the SAME status, as far as I'm concerned. A teacher does not have the right to hit my child, and my child has no right to hit the teacher. He would have absolutely no authority to do such a thing. and I would laugh if he thought so.

That's why I want to see it legal for teacher-based discipline. If you're children are respectful and well behaved, then there's no need for you to worry about anything. The fact that you're getting defensive tells me what your kids are probably little pains in the ass. A lot of parents in this "progressive" world use school as a dumping ground for kids. As such, teachers should be allowed to "parent" these kids since they spend more time with them than the parents do.

Teachers shouldn't be allowed to parent them because they're simply not the parent. No matter what he may think or believe, he's not. I knew just as many teachers who were a pain in the ass as kids who are a pain in the ass. That doesn't mean I should tell my kid to spank the teacher. They have the same status to me. Nothing wrong with progressivism.

Being a waiter or Waitress requires a lot of skills my friend and I think putting those kids at a job like that would only make them realize how unimportant an education is. Jobs like Roofing and Serving will allow them to make and bank good money. I personally think that these kids are just being grade 10 high school kids and they'll get their reality check. In fact, my friend, I am a full-time waiter and I have served many educated people who have the common sense of a nail.
