I love this song. The way I read it and understand it, I think the symbolism can go much further than just 'a president'. It can be anyone who just walks by someone who is suffering and doesn't feel troubled or at least tries to help in some small way. Right or Left Wing, this song isn't about politics. It can be anyone who just walks by someone who is suffering and doesn't feel troubled or at least tries to help in some small way. Right or Left Wing, this song isn't about politics.
