Fallout 3 and Oblivion were developed from the same developer for crying out loud. It is stupid to compare those two games, Fallout 3 came out later than Oblivion so of course it is much better than Oblivion. Just wait for Skyrim to come out then make a new judgement!!

OBLIVION IS AMAZING! Least it starts off easy and gets harder, Fallout 3 just starts off hard as hell when you have fuck all ammo, health and weapons. Something Fallout 3 and new vegas lacked was a starter zone/introduction to the game. Plus, in terms of story, design and combat, Oblivion is far superior. Fallouts shooting system is buggy and not very good. Though I have to admit the DLC is alot better, and there are alot more hidden items and such in fallout then Oblivion.
the ps3 version of fallout has everything the 360 and pc version has :L it does have downloadable content. i think the ps3 version is just as good as the other versions.

I have to say I have been playing Oblivion alot lately. I like Oblivion more. On the PC Oblivion is better than Fallout 3 on PC! However on the 360, Fallout 3 beats Oblivion. Oblivion is only better if it is played on the PC. I do not say this because you CAN mod it, but because the controls are easier and well....you will see when you play it on PC.
i like fallout and oblivion, oblivion its easy to get equipment from the start as he said "you can fast travel" i noramlly fast travel to bruma then go to the barracks then steal there armor but you can also do that in fallout so you no oblivion is better :)
Also, if you spent over 200 hours playing and you don't have a the level 20 characters, well, that's just sad... I could have those three achievements (Lvl 20 good/neutral/evil) done by the 200 hour mark. If not all three then at least two.

Oblivion is better, the fast traveling is a moot point, its your choice whether you do or do not fast travel. Fallout's definitive ending ruined the game for me, Oblivion was absolutely amazing, Fallout was more or less a disappointment.
But all of this is an irrelevant argument, because Skyrims going to rip both of them a new asshole.
Just saying here, in oblivion in tells you where the location is BUT is doesn't let you fast travel to that location until you have discovered, therefore, you are wrong.

u forgot to add spells in oblivion to help heal u while in fucking fallout 3 u have to find stuiped stimpacks or travel near beds to sleep and heal and in oblivion u can summon creatures to help u n battle like fighting bosses or creatures fallout 3 u got to have different types of personalltys to have followers that die and cant get them back but oblivion whin u summon creatures and they die u can just re summon them plus spells that can help u in battle but the only thing alike are perks .

OBLIVION IS AMAZING! Least it starts off easy and gets harder, Fallout 3 just starts off hard as hell when you have fuck all ammo, health and weapons. Something Fallout 3 and new vegas lacked was a starter zone/introduction to the game. Plus, in terms of story, design and combat, Oblivion is far superior. Fallouts shooting system is buggy and not very good. Though I have to admit the DLC is alot better, and there are alot more hidden items and such in fallout then Oblivion.

The graphics are worse on the consoles, read it up, maxxed out graphics on a PC will undermine any console versions of the a game.

I have to say I have been playing Oblivion alot lately. I like Oblivion more. On the PC Oblivion is better than Fallout 3 on PC! However on the 360, Fallout 3 beats Oblivion. Oblivion is only better if it is played on the PC. I do not say this because you CAN mod it, but because the controls are easier and well....you will see when you play it on PC.

this guy is saying that all the locations are discovered right away and are completly false only the major cities are discovered, and this guy says that fallout 3 has 18 enemy types its actually 33, but oblivions is 64enemy types, so you can easily see that oblivion is far more varied, and oblivion is actually 3 times the size of fallout 3 not 1/3 biger.

Oblivion is better, the fast traveling is a moot point, its your choice whether you do or do not fast travel. Fallout's definitive ending ruined the game for me, Oblivion was absolutely amazing, Fallout was more or less a disappointment.
But all of this is an irrelevant argument, because Skyrims going to rip both of them a new asshole.

Ill start by saying that i love them both and i didn't know there was oblivion vs fallout 3 until i saw this video but regarding this video:
1)with all of oblivions dlc's (shivering isles especially) oblivion is a good chunk bigger
2)you cannot fast travel to all oblivions locations at the start you have to search just like fallout. Ye you can fast travel to the towns but that is not the entire game in fact thats a very small part of it.

Well how far have you played in oblivion. 100 times the quest, world actually has climate and is pretty alot of the time. And the game is actually challenging. u forgot to add spells in oblivion to help heal u while in fucking fallout 3 u have to find stuiped stimpacks or travel near beds to sleep and heal and in oblivion u can summon creatures to help u n battle like fighting bosses or creatures fallout 3 u got to have different types of personalltys to have followers that die and cant get them back but oblivion whin u summon creatures and they die u can just re summon them plus spells that can help u in battle but the only thing alike are perks .
