At 2:48 seconds into the video a window appears on the screen with shapes of brushes. Can you explain how to get that screen? I have the same tablet and CS5, but I can't figure out how to get that screen.
having a hard time finding your installation software on the web i have the pen & touch i prefer a link or something to get this software cant use a dvd player els it will cost me a new power supply :(
Man I have used Photoshop forever and it's great, yknow.. but seriously.. FUCK ADOBE. Stop wasting so much time sucking Adobe, Microsoft and Apple's COCKS and SUPPORT FUCKING LINUX GOD DAMN IT. EMAIL FUCKING CANONICAL AND GET SOME WORK DONE.
Y'know these fuck ups just fizzled out on the graphical configuration utility for Linux?.. Wacom just stops working on it and leaves us to FUCK AROUND in the fucking TERMINAL like CAVEMEN.
@downwithdinosaurs uuuuh... cant think of any. But, can gimp animate? I really need a good animation program that is stable and pencil 2d is spazzy D: I think it does, but I'm not sure.
Pen tilt is awesome but, once you begin a stroke with the tilt setting on mine will not allow the tilt to rotate. After speaking with both Wacom and Photoshop support, they both said it's a feature that should work, and they couldn't understand why it wouldn't. I use a Wacom Cintiq 12wx on a Win7 64Bit pro, 8gigs ram, w/1TB scratch disk SSD, and an ATI HD 6790. :/ wish i could get this feature to work properly, other than that, love CS5!
well that tablet costs almost as much as my month salery:D so im staying with the Trust TB-7300 wide tablet :) not as good as this one but if u get to know how your tablet works u can do professional work on other tablets also....wacom is for only for people who works for EA or Blizzard....or Hollywood :D
yes...and the pressure sensitvy is also lower, theres not much hot keys (mine has 34 hot keys for the same amount of money). I checked Wacom products, but for a begginer CGI artist i need something thats gives me good work flow, and the amount of hot keys on this tablet was optimal for me.....latter im looking forward to buy a Wacom Cintiq 21ux :)
Is it possible to use an iPad or any other tablet as a substitute for a WaCom tablet? The tablet I was looking at is the same price as an iPad. The only thing missing is the pressure sensitive stylus.
@hannahfontana69 No. When you use the iPad, there is no pressure sensitivity at all. There are other tablets out there that you can compare to, but I prefer wacom.
mac pro(5000bux) + cintiq(2799bux) + apple led cinema display(999bux) + master creative suite cs5(2355bux)= 11153 bux!! steve jobs OWNED THESE proDucTS AND ONLY stEVE JOBS CAN BUY IT!!!!!!
Seeing this video made me want one so bad! So I went and got one! These things are awesome! Too bad I still can't afford the $2k price.. I got the Bamboo instead for free, tho - I CAN'T STOP USING THIS THING!!
@SleepingStranger Yeah, £1600 for the tablet plus ~£1000 for Photoshop CS5! Students can get Photoshop for WAY cheaper, though. Check out the Adobe website.
i bought this wacom bamboo tablet, it's about 9 months old now and worked fine until i added a 2nd monitor...now...i can't really move the courser with my pen.
...for commenting and internets i meant. macs seem to only run smoothly when you spend like a million dollars for 1000 million gb of ram and 53thousand quad core cpus. a normal pc runs ps just fine.
damn you would think they could get a faster responding computer to make a demo video. this computer hes using has ridiculous lag. he was brushing the wacom tablet and the strokes dont appear for like 1 or 2 full seconds later!! thats horrible. crappy macs
@tazbo28 I use a mac pro daily with 4GB of ram and CS5 works fine. I actually have a colleague who uses a PC and his computer lags horribly compared to mine. CS5 uses so much ram especially on larger projects that you can not judge the computer based on this demo. Maybe if you actually watched the video for the possibilities of the wacom tablet and not the demo station than you might actually become their target audience.
i was merely pointing out that its distracting to watch. i do appreciate all the new features that cs5 has to offer as i am a power user of adobes software. i use a pc and its smooth as butter. 4gb of ram is more than enough to run ps though. i encountered this lag issue on almost all the mac computers i have used at school. however my PC seems to handle this and many other memory and cpu-intensive apps with a fair bit of ease. if macs werent so overpriced, maybe ide use one for this..
@tazbo28 YOU FUCKING RETARDS STOP ARGUING ABOUT MACS AND PCS THEY ARE TWO DIFFERENT GENRES OF COMPUTER AND NO ONE IS GOING TO CHANGE THEIR MINDS BASED OFF OF SOME FAGGOT'S YOUTUBE COMMENT. THE ONLY THING I HATE AS MUCH AS A MAC FANBOY IS A PC FANBOY. ALL OF YOU DIE. AND GRAMMAR NAZI'S: GET FUCKED.

@ManYAkEMm No. It makes worlds of difference to artists. Many professionals reviewed this on Amazon.
It takes a lot less time, and using a mouse is somewhat annoying when using CS5.

To use 2 monitors, if you are using ''pen'' mode, just go at ''details'', and then select monitors, and put there 2.
I dont use pen mode, but who knows if you use...
