  • At 2:48 seconds into the video a window appears on the screen with shapes of brushes. Can you explain how to get that screen? I have the same tablet and CS5, but I can't figure out how to get that screen.

  • Blumio send me here.

  • having a hard time finding your installation software on the web i have the pen & touch i prefer a link or something to get this software cant use a dvd player els it will cost me a new power supply :(

  • What is the main difference between an advanced graphic tablet like an intuos4 and an old one like the graphire3??

(besides size, design of the tablet, and color)

  • @neggflash Sampling rate, number of degrees of pressure, sensitivity of angle detection, et al.

  • Makin' money with a mouse and wacom pen

  • Man I have used Photoshop forever and it's great, yknow.. but seriously.. FUCK ADOBE. Stop wasting so much time sucking Adobe, Microsoft and Apple's COCKS and SUPPORT FUCKING LINUX GOD DAMN IT. EMAIL FUCKING CANONICAL AND GET SOME WORK DONE.

Y'know these fuck ups just fizzled out on the graphical configuration utility for Linux?.. Wacom just stops working on it and leaves us to FUCK AROUND in the fucking TERMINAL like CAVEMEN.

It's nearly 2012 you PIGFUCKERS.. SUPPORT LINUX!

    RAAAAAAAAGE!

  • @downwithdinosaurs linux wont support bf3 so fuck linux

  • @evo2029 assuming you're talking about some queer video game - no one cares about that shit.

  • @downwithdinosaurs ok go play with your gimp

  • @downwithdinosaurs gimp is a photo editing software... Iv'e never used it before, but everybody says it sucks

  • Comment removed

  • @breyerlvrsunited Gimp does not suck, you should try it out.

  • @SilverfangX777 Ok, but I don't think I have any room on my hard drive for it, though it looks cool

  • @breyerlvrsunited everyone says your mother sucks, but I want PROOF.

  • @downwithdinosaurs uuuuh... cant think of any. But, can gimp animate? I really need a good animation program that is stable and pencil 2d is spazzy D: I think it does, but I'm not sure.

  • @downwithdinosaurs I'm sorry you're butthurt because you can't afford Windows.

  • aigoo.. i can't wait to get one TT

  • @ManYAkEMm No. It makes worlds of difference to artists. Many professionals reviewed this on Amazon.

It takes a lot less time, and using a mouse is somewhat annoying when using CS5.

  • Pen tilt is awesome but, once you begin a stroke with the tilt setting on mine will not allow the tilt to rotate. After speaking with both Wacom and Photoshop support, they both said it's a feature that should work, and they couldn't understand why it wouldn't. I use a Wacom Cintiq 12wx on a Win7 64Bit pro, 8gigs ram, w/1TB scratch disk SSD, and an ATI HD 6790. :/ wish i could get this feature to work properly, other than that, love CS5!

  • What product are you using at 0:15 when you are drawing directly on the screen?

  • @02Cman Wacom Cintiq 21UX, Software is PS CS5...

  • well that tablet costs almost as much as my month salery:D so im staying with the Trust TB-7300 wide tablet :) not as good as this one but if u get to know how your tablet works u can do professional work on other tablets also....wacom is for only for people who works for EA or Blizzard....or Hollywood :D

  • @offline65 A Wacom Bamboo is $50.

  • @Aphradonis

yes...and the pressure sensitvy is also lower, theres not much hot keys (mine has 34 hot keys for the same amount of money). I checked Wacom products, but for a begginer CGI artist i need something thats gives me good work flow, and the amount of hot keys on this tablet was optimal for me.....latter im looking forward to buy a Wacom Cintiq 21ux :)

  • Are you using the medium or large tablet?

  • do you get pgotoshop with your tablet,or do you need to have photoshop on your computer ?

  • I find this information very relevant to my internets. Can't wait to get my hands on these features in the future

  • Is it possible to use an iPad or any other tablet as a substitute for a WaCom tablet? The tablet I was looking at is the same price as an iPad. The only thing missing is the pressure sensitive stylus.

  • @hannahfontana69 No. When you use the iPad, there is no pressure sensitivity at all. There are other tablets out there that you can compare to, but I prefer wacom.

  • i've been using my intuos2 tablet for 11 years

  • mac pro(5000bux) + cintiq(2799bux) + apple led cinema display(999bux) + master creative suite cs5(2355bux)= 11153 bux!! steve jobs OWNED THESE proDucTS AND ONLY stEVE JOBS CAN BUY IT!!!!!!

  • The combination of these two resources helps to create some of the BEST art that one could ever hope to see.

  • Seeing this video made me want one so bad! So I went and got one! These things are awesome! Too bad I still can't afford the $2k price.. I got the Bamboo instead for free, tho - I CAN'T STOP USING THIS THING!!

  • @DesignVillians - I have the Bamboo Pen and Touch device, and it's a blessing for sure. Still learning how to use this bad boy.

  • What tablet is the best for drawing?

  • I'll just get the Wacom and pirate the Adobe Photoshop :D

  • @Dailybabble ME TOO!!!

I don't have like 2000 DOLLARS to burn!!!

You be a fool not to!!!

  • @Dailybabble torrentz(dot)Com

  • @Dailybabble HURPA DERP me too

  • UM SOME TELL ME WAER U HOOK GUY UP THIS POWER PEN TABET GUY DONT BE GAY U NO U ARE JUST TELL ME

  • it's alot of mony though =(

  • @SleepingStranger Yeah, £1600 for the tablet plus ~£1000 for Photoshop CS5! Students can get Photoshop for WAY cheaper, though. Check out the Adobe website.

  • i bought this wacom bamboo tablet, it's about 9 months old now and worked fine until i added a 2nd monitor...now...i can't really move the courser with my pen.

    can any1 help me here ? =)

  • @menotspeakenglish Hey man, are u still with your doubt?

To use 2 monitors, if you are using ''pen'' mode, just go at ''details'', and then select monitors, and put there 2.

I dont use pen mode, but who knows if you use...

  • mmmm, why is it lagging when he uses a cintiq at the beginning?

  • @rionhunter Yeah, I was wondering the same thing. That's a pretty significant lag. You think they would have caught that for the video?!

  • @nopedamnit Well I have mine now, and it doesn't really do that, thankfully.

    I was quite worried.

  • @rionhunter Thanks for letting me know! I'm getting one shortly and I was terrified it would lag like that!

  • wil the the brushes work for other tablets?

  • @tangkag879 Yea of course they work for every tablet

  • ...for commenting and internets i meant. macs seem to only run smoothly when you spend like a million dollars for 1000 million gb of ram and 53thousand quad core cpus. a normal pc runs ps just fine.

  • GOD I WISH I HAD tHIS!

  • damn you would think they could get a faster responding computer to make a demo video. this computer hes using has ridiculous lag. he was brushing the wacom tablet and the strokes dont appear for like 1 or 2 full seconds later!! thats horrible. crappy macs

  • @tazbo28 I use a mac pro daily with 4GB of ram and CS5 works fine. I actually have a colleague who uses a PC and his computer lags horribly compared to mine. CS5 uses so much ram especially on larger projects that you can not judge the computer based on this demo. Maybe if you actually watched the video for the possibilities of the wacom tablet and not the demo station than you might actually become their target audience.

  • @illata

i was merely pointing out that its distracting to watch. i do appreciate all the new features that cs5 has to offer as i am a power user of adobes software. i use a pc and its smooth as butter. 4gb of ram is more than enough to run ps though. i encountered this lag issue on almost all the mac computers i have used at school. however my PC seems to handle this and many other memory and cpu-intensive apps with a fair bit of ease. if macs werent so overpriced, maybe ide use one for this..

  • Look at 5:00.. That's sick.

  • cant wait to get CS5 to use with my Bamboo fun

  • Comment removed

  • The new bristle brushes and mixer brush look really awesome, but uncomfortably laggy as well. And I keep pet peeving over them saying you can just mix up a photo and have a, "beautiful hand-painted piece of art". xD

But still, CS5 looks pretty awesome overall. Definitely worth investigating.

  • woah cool

  • What a great and informative video. This has really helped me alot, im going to purchase a Wacom Tablet now to match with my Adobe Products!

    best
