  • BDM keeps saying "Great Stable Sag" hahahah!

  • Portugal :)

  • I LIVE IN BURNSVILLE MINNESOTA!!!!!

  • Ugh, this guys ticks are beyond annoying.

  • the best deck of that format = jund

great part of the players of that tour used jund = smart, but not 2 smart

andre coimbra use naya, that was build completly againts jund = not even close to genious, but way smarter than the others

  • I would disagree poker is MORE % based on luck then magic (magic is also based on a certain % of luck) but the pro european m:tg players at the top level (again worlds, etc, etc in TR) have taken their knowledge with MTG over to pro poker and done very well and have even stated in interviews in 2003>2005 that poker was much easier for them to guess the counters, and what was going to happen (IE much more possiblities in MTG then poker) although agreement is that both can be played adequately

  • Reitbauer punted game two. Had he not used Terminate or Lightning Bolt on the Goblin Ruinblaster and taken a few hits before pulling the trigger (knowing his opponent probably sideboarded the burn out, as it's not very good against Jund), he'd have a valid target for Bituminous Blast. He cleared the board, sure, but then had no answers for bigger creatures. If he kept the Lightning Bolt, he could have even killed the Great Sable Stag. Heh.

Still the best man won. Go Portugal :]

  • @DTrooper458 how was he supposed to know what he was going to draw. He made the right play: cancel out the other deck and count on Jund to do what Jund does best.

  • PORTUGAL FTW!!! =D

  • @tubemankiwi lol

  • Dual dragons ftw. Love it when I play MTG planes for PC.

  • Well...i think they can put it back on espn2....if they had better cameras and better angles

  • it is why i love magic

  • I stayed up and watched this

  • you guys ruin the game with comments, i havent seen this yet!! i dont need to know who wins just yet

  • I don't think that th audience acted fair. Totally told Coimbra what Reitbauer had drawn at around 19:40 etc.

  • Imagine if this got back on espn2 replacing poker.

  • lol...i wish, but (not too offend anyone) poker is uberly-simple compared too magic, they have too keep it simple for their audience lol.

  • @starscreen85 Simple yes, but more skill is needed in poker. It's not massivly hard to play a magic deck optimally

  • @98smithg It is when you are playing against top pros.

  • @Ballinlolz Magic was on espn befor back in the 90's

  • @Ballinlolz

Lots of either ex or current m:tg players have done very well in the Poker scene. Says something about where Magic takes people. :)

  • @Ballinlolz I'd watch.

  • @Ballinlolz

lol, magic had a time where every1 knew what it was...everyone played...then...BAM... vanished and from some years now its regrowing =)

me and my friend rented a room for magic players of my city, and if they dont play magic, we have begginner decks, or decks easy to use so they can start, and then we give them to choose the deck clour(s) and we order it from the internet, we hope to get this going in here =)

  • @tubemankiwi Ive been playing TR - local and semi-on the east coast since 1996 (15 years now) and trust me magic never went away to the mainstream folks who were (casual) at best it disappeared but lol - from 1993>present 18 years and going magic has never died out (its one of the ONLY TCG's that hasnt died out and has remained popular) its just some people failed to take notice or the mainstream grew tired of it (because it wasnt the "new" thing) anymore but its been around and active for now

  • @Itzsfo0 well, its popular among some.

b4 every1 knew it. it was most played game..

  • almost 20 years

  • @Itzsfo0

    almost 20 years what? =.

  • @tubemankiwi sorry didnt elaborate I meant almost (being 18 years now) of M:TG Play (both on the casual level for that entire span of time and on a local (RT) regular tournaments (local) not on a national or worlds level (extended) so basically from the time of initial release in august of 1993> to present day (which is roundabouts almost 18 years - of play I was 13 when M:TG was first introduced (the local store where I lived @ was called Strategic Castle it still stands they had the FNM and

  • @tubemankiwi booster draft, roundtable, small-time rewards for competitive play (i guess that was considered local regular tournaments back then without the inclusion of more technical things) t2, extended, etc - as the years went by the store has went through some changes but M:TG has remained (not quite 20 years but closing in) as still a popular item now as it was nearly 18 years ago and theres been a consistent group of diehard players (still mainly casual) that walk into the store anytime

  • @tubemankiwi during the week, not just friday night magic - but througout the week, over the months/years

  • @Itzsfo0

not sure i understood but somehow i agree :)

  • Comment removed

  • Only works on Green creatures

  • Where is the blue magic, huh? It was in both faeries AND 5cc in worlds '08. Now nothing??? C'mon.

  • what a draw-lucker. not just in this video.

  • Coimbra top decked like a motherfucker.

  • Yessir, but skilled nontheless.

  • @KilliaK Skilled, but as the announcers said in the first video, he wasn't the one who designed the deck. If he was, I would respect him 10x more.

  • @lifeequalsyes

heyhey...dont like it kiss my portuguese ass...u do what u do..
