i definately prefer it when devin actually sings as opposed to completely growling and over bellowing. devin did great on the city album and also heavy as a, and live in australia but the solo stuff where he also sings is a blessing in music and vocals. devin i dont think should of growled a smuch as he did with alien album, but thats just my opinion i guess. nonetheless devin is still immense

I don't know why but everyone seems to prefer City to Alien. I think Alien is a masterpiece and blows all his other SYL stuff out of the water. My opinion.

That is a very very weird choice for your favorite SYL album lol. Even Devin himself didn't like the album save for 2 songs. I agree though, I like his solo stuff more than SYL and he has more solo stuff than SYL too!

@lasoogneypubes dnt get me wrong, i loved alien, the only thing i feel takes light off it are the death metal-ish growls he does. i think he just went alittle overboard with them. the album is diverse tho for something thats soo heavy and i might listen in the car on the way to work later, ive already had terria on earlier. nothing like syl when u want something rather heavy and dark :)
