You don't even have to jump up the top though. I just pulled jext towards me with the hookshot and hammered him like that, or got him to make lava flows on the walls and pulled him into those.
@2XocraM There's clear indication as to when (and how long till) the boss is going to attack. The idea is to time your hookshot attempts so you only go on top of the pillar when the boss isn't attacking, or go up immediately after he attacks. Then get as much damage in and get off the pillar before the next attack comes.
If the top of the pillar was changed, you could just stand up there the entire battle spamming attacks on the boss.
@2XocraM Although, I should add somewhere that allows the player to dose themselves off if they get lit on fire, because the burn damage is really overpowered.
@AndrewFMs I'm working on creating a boss that shoots fire projectiles at the player and was wondering if you could post the javascript somewhere so that I could take a look at how you managed to do this.
