I have maya but is vray somethin I have to download???

@JenerationNation That's right mate it is , but again it's not absolutely necessary , they both do the same thing but I find VRay to be more straightforward than mental ray and it has a more manageable learning curve I guess

When I render the chrome shader I created it just displays as Black, Like it is in pers view

@GollyVids Check your shader thoroughly , there is no reason why it shouldn't work properly , be sure to use a blinn/phong , other types of materials won't work , also again check you shader settings or have a look at your render engine , if you followed what I did properly there is no eason why it shouldn't work ;)
