@switcherx : Yeah, you're right. I'd say it's partly aging. But it's also because after Star Wars '77, he was in a very serious car accident that required massive facial reconstructive surgery. I'd be curious to know what he'd look like today had that car accident never happened. All in all though, he still looks pretty good, especially for his age.

I think typecasting is a myth or sometimes an excuse. Just because Hamill was in SW didnt mean he could go out and demand starring roles. What he needed to do was get small parts in films w/big actors at the time. He also looked better on screen with lighter colored hair. Ep 6 and after he had darker hair. H. Ford was in a lot of small roles for a decade before he made it big.Those parts helped him grow into the guy who could be Solo and Indy. You cant start at the finish line and learn to race.

Yes you can clearly see an alteration in his nasal cartillage structure when presented with rapidly sequencing images of his face like this. His hawk nose in the pre- Star Wars era is replaced with a "cherubic" type nose which does, somewhat alter his appearanace.
