Good overall concept for big warehouses. Probably would be better if it was integrated electronically for the stock re-order. Faster and less human error of missing the stockout.

A complicated solution to a simple problem. There are many ways to make a two bin system work without spending a lot of money, including one box, divided in the middle. Or two boxes on a flow rack.

This 2 bin system is just a simple system and major companies actually contract the 2 bin system to suppliers, who supply small parts. It gets more complicated when you try to use the kanban formula integrated in your inventory management software.

McDonalds also uses the kanban system behind their counters during busy hours. It's pretty generic and self explanatory and also very versatile. Favorited
