  • Frankly, I disagree with the thinking that you make a sacrifice just to look cool. You shouldn't have to sacrifice quality or reliability just to look cool or sexy. It doesn't do you any good to look good if you can't get out of the car in case of an accident, or (God forbid) your car catches fire.

  • look ma...im a yuckee

  • @pat1981lux racist dooshbag

  • and if you drive it up to 88 miles per hour, you'll see some serious sh*t.

  • The statement these cars made?

"I'm not getting laid in this piece of shit"

  • Only very early cars had problems with door leaks. At that time the assembly line was installing the fenders and quarter panels first, and then the doors last and had to make the doors line up to the other body panels. That resulting in bad fitting and sealing. Once the production line switched over to mounting doors first and ensuring a solid seal, and then putting the other body panels on to line up with the doors instead, they were fine. Mine stays dry in the carwash or rain.

  • It's a love or hate car for sure.

  • gorgeous car! it will be mine!.... oh yes... it will be mine

  • @thatplankguy He does this every Friday!

  • Ahaha the car blueprint is a corvette.

  • slammed a girl in the trunk? ive done that before if you know what i mean...

  • Ive wanted one of these ever since i watched Back to the Future lol

  • 2:59 "Go pick up a girl, see what she thinks. I think she'd think it's pretty cool."

I disaggree. Women are stupid, especcially when it comes to cars. Any woman would think it's ugly, because they don't know what a good car is. Women don't deserve to drive, because all they wanna do is roll around at 10 mph in their little Nissan or Honda.

  • @Prim3StaR Thats exactly how it is, they usually say it is ugly. Only a select few like the D and i think the main reason is because they want shinny paint. They think it is a work in progress or something. Girls dont understand that it is as beautiful as it was 28 years ago and nothing has been done to it. You pull into a gas station and you get a flock of guys.

  • @Prim3StaR Girls think the D is a work in progress or something. They want to see shiny paint to think a car is nice. Only a select few girls like the D. The cool ones =) But you pull into a gas station and you will only get a flock of guys. Girls do not understand that the car looks as beautiful as it did 28 years ago with nothing done to it.

  • @Prim3StaR sexist much?

  • is it a safe car? would I live if I was in a crash?

  • @AnonymoussourceL0L You want a safe car, get a Honda...they are for little housewifes who worry about crash ratings and fuel mileage. Deloreans are for men.

  • @helipilot27 lol fuck you XD I want a delorean as my first car. Frankly I could care less about my safety, but I would need my dads approval. That's why he wouldn't get me a vintage 60s mustang so next time I ask a simple question, don't be a douche about it.

  • @AnonymoussourceL0L Like I said Deloreans are for men, not little boys who need their daddy to buy them a car.

  • @helipilot27 lololololol I can't apply for a JOB yet (not old enough to drive) and I never said he was going to buy it, and besides, I bet you don't even own a DMC-12 so you can't even claim to be a man yourself. piss off.

  • @AnonymoussourceL0L Really, what did you expect asking such a open ended dumbass question. "Will I survive?" Geez, it depends on many things. If you crash into a pile of stuffed teddy bears, you're probably ok, if you hit a mac truck head on at 90mph...not so much.

  • @helipilot27 Well I meant in general. If I had collided with a car about the size of the Delorean at 40-60 mph would I have been crushed and cut with bits of stainless steel?

  • @AnonymoussourceL0L No, most likely not. Watch this video, and keep in mind - this is only doing 40.

    /watch?v=0mjd2NTJU9g&feature=related

  • The Delorean engine may not powerful, but they are reliable. I've driven one and they are a lot of fun!

  • I want a Delorean so bad. If you want a small, futuristic looking car, the delorean is the car for you. People say the delorean is slow. In pictures, the delorean looks bigger than it is. It is only 4 feet tall. How fast do they want it to be?!

  • Their engines were rubbish. The PRV engine was SERIOUSLY underpowered.

  • This guy is a great presenter, great personality. I enjoyed watching!

  • that black guy is awesome

  • 57,000 for a brand new one custom made for you.

  • @darkninja060 $57,500 for one without upgrades. You can bring the price up to $80,000 with lots of upgrades. I'm planning to buy one for $70,000

  • a DeLorean is sexy?? LOL but its cool i really want one

  • BAM BAM BAM

    Time Paradox

  • I agree with you mate 100% with this video!

  • i saw one leaveing concors d'elegance

  • is this show coming bk lol...they only drove like 30 or so...lol

  • This car is the supreme ruler of the automotive world!!!!!!!!!!!! I've sat in one before, and it was awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I rode in a Delorean yesterday. It was great. An 81 with 16k miles on it. The owner bought it from the orginal owner.

  • the DeLorean is #1 on my "Most Wanted" car list....

just gota keep saving up the cash...

  • if it wasnt for back to the future and you tube i would never see my dream car thanks

  • i would kill to have this car

  • the body of that car is the COOLEST ever made!

  • When these cars first came out they had some problems. The assembly line wasn't experienced enough to handle production. The car needed more engineering development but the company ran out of money before that could happen. There were even 2 twin turbo model prototypes developed by Legend Industries. One was raced against a Ferrari 308 GTS and beat it! The company is back in bussiness now and all the engineering problems have been corrected. You can even buy one with a high performance enigne.

  • Very nice episode, they are worth quite a bit.

But I think the upkeep would be difficult depending on what state you lived in.

I know if John was still alive and things were different with the money issues in the 80's chances are John would have had sports cars that were right next to Ferrari or Lambourghini.

  • I talked to a guy who has one with a twin turbo. He has John Delorean's autograph on the glove box. They start at $20,000 and go up $60,000 for new one built with unused/new parts at DMC of Houston. They are not that hard to maintain. The stainless is cleaned like a kitchen appliance with a paste. The leaking door problem mentioned here can be corrected with new seals. There is also a stage 2 performance upgrade available with 197 hp from the new DMC company

  • Thanks for posting this! My favorite car and fav episode of 101 cars. Long live the Stainless Wonder!

  • dunno about an suv, but he did have a sedan in design and had a prototype for a bus -the DMC 80 ready to go

  • actually GM set him up for a fall, framing him with drug charges, if that didnt happen, he would be the real kingpin, he was planning an SUV a sedan, and numerus others, all with gullwing doors of course XD
