Are the vr-4s really better than the sl? I have a 93 sl model with engine swap to a vr-4s but the power still only goes to the front wheels, obviously, anyways why is the vr-4 better than an sl?

@MrJnavar10 welll first of all....vr4 is a AWD AWS with Active areo, and sport tour suspension etc....its twin turbo, has more power and it is seen more as a rarer car with more value

if you swap engine im sure you have to swap the drivetrain since this engine is ment for awd right? sorry im not much educated about cars but sitll know a lil bit

anyways to swap you have to get the trans and motor, change the drivetrain and a bunch of other stuff convert to awd

so get the parts from a vr4

vr4 engine swaps require so many parts that it cost as much or less to buy a vr4, also im 95% sure only the japanese SLs came with the undercarriage with space for the awd drivetrain

and another thing vr4s hold value where as sls dont...... lets say u paid 5k for sl and 7 for a vr4 in 10 years that sl will be worth a few grand maybe still 5k maybe even way less probably WAY less depending on condiotion

that vr4 is defintally gonna be much more valuable if its the vr4, ITS A SPORTScAR

so selll ur sl and get the vr4 and own a peice of history!

i test drove an sl and its nice cant wiat to get a vr4

@MrJnavar10 all wheel drive mainly, where fwd slips on lauches, thats pretty nice that you have one of those, swaps can work with an awd motor exhaust clutch etc, making an SL motor into a vr4 costs more than a vr4 :P

yes they are! I wish I had one. I'm still stuck with my SL.
