  • The theme was credited to the four partners behind "Total Television Productions", the outfit that produced "TENNESSEE TUXEDO AND HIS TALES": writers Buck Biggers and Chet Stover, art director Joe Harris, and sound recordist/producer Treadwell D. Covington.

  • @fromthesidelines Excellent! Thanks for the info.

  • the dam penquin

  • Nice theme!!

  • This reminds me of Let Me In by the sensations.

  • @charlyW34 There's quite a few songs with cartoon-theme sound qualities. The guitar opening of Bob Marley's "Redemption Song" and the "King of The Hill" theme guitar are quite similar.

  • @alfrank2000 Agreed! In this case it's the vocal blend that reminded me of the Sensations hit tune, which I believe was from 1962. Cheers

  • @charlyW34 yeah--especially the drums. good ear!!

  • TENNESSEE TUXEDO WILL NOT FAIL!!!

  • Thanks. Haven't heard this in decades.
