He's right. Our trade deficit is headed over 300 billion with them. The Chinese workers that build these products pay Chinese taxes that pay for Chinese defense. If they were made here, by US workers paying US income taxes that would pay for our services and defense. This would reduce our budget deficit and taxes. We should be trying to do diplomatically and globally if possible. 2 weeks ago the G20 agreed to address trade imbalances, we’ll see if it happens. If not we have to act.

Here's what should really be done with China. Support the Chinese labor movement, and then products in China will no longer be cheaper. Support labor movements in other countries. For many reasons, this would be better than tariffs, and we would get our jobs back. Win. Win.

@cb8034 Donald Trumps got my vote, he knows business & balance sheets & has the discipline to get R government in the black again. 98 % of the adults in this country are decent, hardworking, honest Americans It's the other 2% that get all the publicity. we elected them.
