As for Joe not being licensed, as far as I know, he's required to take a five year apprenticeship and take an exam, and he started November 2003.

I'm one of those people that can not collect unemployment insurance. I'm pretty sure the employment information in california is intentionally completely wrong.

If the state rate is 7.7% then why is 1/3 of the people I know (all highly skilled)in the most prosperous area in california unemployed?

The more I see 'Joe, the Plumber', the more he's beginning to look like Det. Frank Tripp on CSI Miami.

Palin did a pretty descent job on SNL. She was still shielded from any kind of dialogue. I am shocked Alec Baldwin had anything to do with her (he never looked at her during opening scene). Amy Poller was the star during the anchor scene. Palin only raised the roof.

The crowd in St. Louis for Obama was awesome. WOW! Too bad the MSM didn't focus more. MSNBC showed more than any other.

Excellent point, too often overlooked. The only "unemployed" are those who are collecting unemployment insurance. This means, of course that all the homeless you see on the street are counted as employed!
