Back in August of '92, my uncle got ran down on a highway outside of Phoenix, and my mom was understandably devastated.

Fast forward a few months to my birthday... I get a High 'N Dry tape, and as soon as I see this track, I had to hide it away or it'd set her off crying... Man, hard times ;(

A few months later, this tour came to town. She wanted to go, but I had this feeling that by some coincidence they would play this, so I talked her out of going... CLOSE CALL!

I was actually at this gig at Don Valley after going to Metallica in Milton Keynes the day before (and I didn't have a car then either) Best weekend of my life, and you can actually see me in the crowd in the Metallica t-shirt at about 4:42. Thats exactly why I don't/can't talk down to any professional musician. My teacher used to always pick on C.C. Deville of Poison for being horrible, but the thing is, that guy wrote amazing simple riffs that people enjoy and he made crowds go nuts.

If you can play music and make hundreds of thousands of people scream, thats what makes a good entertainer, and thats what it's all about. Entertaining.

For the record, if Vivian is well known as a professional guitarist to people like Dio ect, and he gets payed millions, he's probably way better than you will ever be.
