Im a domestic guy through and through, i love the rip of a V8. But I have mad respect for a lot of import rides. The drive-ability and durability of a subaru baffles me, and I would trade any one of my American rides for a twin turbo fatbody Supra <3 Each individual vehicle has its own personality and I dont think we should have to limit our interests or enjoyment to where the car was built.

@CHASNME I dont know where you get this info from, as a participant in this event and a builder of Honda's for over a decade I can guarantee you 99% of the fwd honda's in this video are stock chassis, stock firewall, stock floorboard cars with 10pt cages and a 62mm to 72mm Turbo burning gasoline. There is absolutely nothing done to them that would prevent them from being tagged and driven down the road. Millers car is the same setup just a 10pt cage and a 72mm turbo and he runs 182mph with 2.0L

@CHASNME theres your problem right there, dont compare what your dsm can do to what we can do, we dont have to do a cam swap to surpass 10krpm I rev 10,4 on oem gsr cams, which I might add idle like a gem.... many have made close to 1000hp on oem honda cams, and if you are a good tuner there is no reason you cant get a 1600cc injector car to idle in the 1000rpm range around 13.5 afr, which in most pre-95 cars will be good to pass inspection. Dont come cry to me about a cat converter, big deal.

@CHASNME It only takes 600-650whp to run 9's in one of these 2400lb cars in T/S trim, well within the reach of good 1000cc Injectors, stock cams, a Billett 62mm Turbo and 3" exhaust, i made 600 in my Integ at only 23psi on E85 and drove the car 10,000 miles without an issue at that power level all day, no overheating, idled clean at 15.0 and 800rpm... passed smog just fine with a 3" cat thrown up in it for inspection.... could of easily turned it up to 700-750 and went <9 and +150.
