and i'll remind you that after mtl eliminated washington in 7, they went on to beat the pittsburgh in 7 in round 2
the difference between those series is simple: halak stole the series vs washington
but the habs just outplayed pittsburgh in round 2 (especially game 7 the penguins looked like a pee-wee team)
