You dont know what they were actually trying to says . The true way to interpret the Bible is dont take it so literal, and take out of context. There are many "Christian" churches that claim to preach the truth but they do not, and many are falling for it.

But isn't the entire Bible a story of lostness and then "foundness"? Don't Christians worship a God who consistently punishes with the intent to redeem? Israel forgets God's goodness and they are banished from the land; Israel remembers God's goodness and God brings them back. Doesn't Jesus offer all of us the way home to a restored relationship with God?

I think we as humans just read the bible with blind eyes.....theres more to it than we will ever know....You can just hear it when people talk about the bible...people that don't believe in it and people that do believe in it all have different outlooks on the same versus...then theres people that haven't read the whole bible and make a conclusion about it...thats like watching a movie 30 min in and saying what the rest of the movie means or whats going to take place

@acme181169, 100%percent correct. My entire life is centered around JESUS CHRIST I try to do everything I do for his Glory. I have cone to him with burdens I could not bare and he always lightens my load and puts into my mouth what I should say. Christians are confronted by 2 kinds of people. Satanist and Athiest. We will continue to speak when we are sent to do so until Christ removes his Church.

@jhartist123 You hav'nt recieved 'belittleing' because of your belief, but how you've presented your belief and the methods you've choosen to do that. Atheists (generally speaking) dont care when they get 'cussed out'. On the whole (and particularly in America) for somebody to call themselves an atheist, they will have thought long, hard and deeply about the issue. They have probably spent a very long time researching many many sources and both sides of the issue and have also carefully.....

......constructed a moral framework. So the two biggest (and possibly only) insults you can make to an atheist is to accuse them of being ignorant and/or immoral. Having said that it's usually water of a ducks back and we would'nt lose sleep over it. It seems to me that believers are far more easily wounded in these exchanges, after all your entire life is based around one thing, ours isn't. Belief is the central core of your existance while atheism is just one small part of who we are.

@somegirlwithaface, 100% agreed! God doesn't want anyone to die. We are not isreal. We are in the era of the church. This is the time inwhich God is calling us lost sinners to his son through the Holy Spirit. He is not pouring out judgement on the world yet. That he will do in the second half of the great tribulation and everyone will have been given plenty of opportunities to accept salvation before then.

@squazx, the Holy Spirit opens our eyes to the trueth in Gods Word. He also teaches us threw life experiences. His presence is felt and he works constantly in the lives of believers. He can be in all places at the same time. When you have felt the Holy Spirit and seen evidence of his presence in your life then you will know that God is real.

I assume you will belittle me like all the other Christian haters on youtube.When we accept Jesus' free gift of salvation which is him crucified for our sins and resurrected.He sends his Holy Spirit to dwell in us and he gives us knowledge. Gods word is totally misunderstood by critics.

@jhartist123 The crucifixtion just does'nt make sense at any level! God killed himself, so he could forgive us for breaking rules that he made up, that he knew we could'nt live up to cos he made us imperfect, but he did'nt die cos he was just pretending! If that isn't completly fucked up then I don't know what is! Even if it happened, how at an level is it to be regarded as a good thing or a moral thing to do?
