i guess you are missing the point.... when the danish newspaper published muhammads pbuh cartoon...there were massive rallys in pakistan... when 200 people were killed in an attack on women's market..or on girl schools... there was not a single rally... the nytimes points is that..what you are doing is not enough... got it?
Zabardast video yaar . a completely fitting response . but you have posted it as a response to the wrong channel . hardly anyone from US will visit Pakistanchannel to watch it . therefore post it on the TheNewYorkTimes channel . specifically to the Tuning Out the taliban video .
u just want to create confusion but i think have failed. i m Pakistani, i have been listing and watching these songs and situation in which it was made since it was created.listen carefully we are not against west we r against their interruption and damage they cause us. our youth and such singers just want a peaceful Pakistan which is not possible in the presence of "THIS" west.
oh puhleez. What a waste of time. And people are actually calling this a work of journalism. We just CANNOT take criticism, eh. We'll see ourselves blown up into smithereens but we'll never ever ever accept criticism and take responsibility of our own handiwork. What a sad sad day.
@roxette12345678 Wait ur having talks with the Talib and ur stopping us.Drone Attacks did kill 150 taliban and also 1000 civilians who are now calng for revenge.U knw that ?U knw nothing wat r the grund realities of this war n yet ur talking.Mr Obama said Afghanistan is safe. Is it? If atacks on US embassy by 3 people dosent Qualify O.K. Statement "They came frm Pakistan." Like thats a valid reason.Taliban afghan cross border n attck us(nothin don on dat) but critisize pak for vice-versa.
This isnt Journalism this is response to cheap move to get viewers by manipulating stories no matter two countries go to war because of it.BTW Can't u take criticism, this aint a war u can win with guns ur fighting an ideology (No it isn't "we hate civil liberties"), how was IRA defeated
Amazing response! I've seen a lot of musicians condemning the taliban, contrary to what the documentary suggests. Of course there are musicians who feel that the U.S is a bigger threat, but to suggest that it's the case generally, is inaccurate.
And when Ali Noor said that the taliban are a small threat, he was highlighting the common sentiment that amidst recession, corruption, separatist movements and so many other problems this country is facing, the taliban are negligible.
What these idiots like Ali Azmat and Ali noor siad, how can they be justified?
A galant attampt on your part for this "reposnse," but sir jee, what we really need to do is ask our pop fools to keep their mouth shut when it comes to serious talk.
Tuning Out The Taliban is a great video... this response full of shit.... i can rip through it on video to video comparison... pakistan wants to live in state of denial and people like maker of this video are helping them in this... all musician gave interviews also... why did you ignore it.. did not one of the band say taliban smallest problem... are you crazy.. they almost took half of your country... your army.... not police but army is fighting. about schools... he starts shit about funding
This is a ice response. I am from India, but when I saw the original video I couldnt help but think that it was a bit doctored. This journalist is trying to create new stereotypes, of even modern Pakistanis being America haters. It is never the American people that the world hate, it is their governments meddling in every country's affairs and their military industrial complex that should have a war every few years to sustain itself.
It's nice to know that you realize it is our government's fault and not our own. Unfortunately our government and biased media do a pretty damn good job at keeping the American public unaware of what is REALLY going on around the world.

If you change the title of video to "Response to NY Times: Tuning Out The Taliban" more people would be able to see it.
This should be lesson to NY Times journalists who think only they know who to do journalism.
