  • I was wondering if you have tried the Alva Baby color snaps diaper? They are a AIO and have double gussets??? Ive seen really good reviews but want to see your personal opinion :)

  • i strongly disagree that a sprayer is a must. i find them to be way over rated and we have a fine time soaking my babes diapers in the toilet, everything just falls off! besides that, i've heard terrible stories about them messing up plumbing. =S not sure how but i've heard that a few times. hahah something that i wish someone had told me though, is that my likes might change. i went from pockets for this year andnow i'm living fitteds with fleece covers. sooo cute. hahah

  • Great video! thanks for sharing. I did many of those mistakes at first! lol How about washing them...ever made some mistakes there? I washed them with Ivory Snow, and too much of it...stripping is such a time consuming chore!

  • @BetterBabying Once a dryer sheet got into the dyer with them. Stripping is a pain, but I really have only done it 2x's in 14 months :)

  • your video was funny and cute. thanks for posting also what kind of rash cream do you use that is okay to use on cloth diapers?

  • @MrsGxoxo Grandma Els :) But I've used California Baby before too!

  • Thanks for a great video! Our first time cloth diapering will come at the end of Feb. =)

  • @MommyDani2 Ekk that's exciting!! :)

  • what diaper bag are you using now?

  • @jessicargrimes Ju Ju Be Prepared, I did a review video on it recently :)

  • ok, right after they are born in the hospital, did you take her home in a cloth diaper? or wait until you got home and adjusted?

  • @dancerhaven I was in the hospital for 5 days, 4 of which were post delivery. So the day we came home is the day she wore her 1st cloth diaper :)

  • Awesome vid, Suzie!

  • Have you tried charlie banana? If so, how did you feel about those?

  • @summoora No never. I heard they are pretty similar to Fuzzi Bunz (same manufacturer??) and I don't like the Fuzzi Bunz that much, they leak often....so no, never wanted to try those.

  • I was looking to purchase a BFF. Would you consider doing a diaper bag review on yours?

  • @dawndelaine Ekkk, yeah I will.....I liked it, but actually purchased another diaper bag. I still have it, but I'm not currently using it. I'll update on it soon.

  • i am due in october and am currently looking into cloth nappies, there are so many and had nearly decided on buying a load of a certain type but i think i will leave it for now, also im now think of newborn reusables as I have now thanks to your vid looked at other reviews and the nappie i was looking at is apperently no very good on newborns and also as you said i will prob only get a few of the nappie i was looking at or maybe a trial pack of a few to see what we like!

    thank you x

  • @lanapiper Kissaluvs fitted are perfect for newborns, with covers. They dip down for the umbilical cord :) Which for us was on for 3 weeks! Good luck with whatever you try!

  • Hi! I'm expecting my first in July and love your posts. My stash currently consists of 12 Kissaluvs 2.0 with Thirsteez duo wrap covers and 12 BG 4.0s. You said you love the BG 4.0, but how about the Kissaluvs? Did you like those?

  • @chesterwedding LOVE LOVE LOVE the kissaluvs!!!! But only used them as a newborn, and just have too many one size for now, and no excuse to invest in more kissaluvs in bigger sizes. They aren't one size like my pocket diapers are. And it would be too expensive to buy kissaluvs in all size ranges, especially since we already have a good stash. But I did love them and will use them for baby #2 for sure as a newborn! GL :)

  • Hi is it possible to do a video response on the differences between modern cloth diaper systems and the old fashion cloth and rubber pants? All the pros and cons between the old and the ne

This would be very interesting and informative for people that want to try them

    Thanks so much!

    Tanya

  • @TanyaAnders I only tried prefolds briefly as a newborn, and wasn't a fan. So I wouldn't be a good person to give opinions on those.

  • TOO funny with Ava in the background... that was so cute!

  • @kathrynmichelle84 Thanks :) Hehe

  • Hahah I loooove the sneak peaks of Ava!!!!!

  • @TheSuperMoochacha LoL @ hubby!!

  • What were your least faves?

  • @brittanykay22109 I have a few that I don't like for different reasons. Fuzzi Bunz, best bottom, and little joey. Still use the 1st two, but not my fav's.

  • @suezq4369 Thanks. I remembered your video talking about Little Joey's & them not being what you expected. So what is your all time favorite diaper....if you HAD to pick only one?

  • and OMG Ava in the beginning made my day!

  • @LivestrongH2 Aw, thanks :)

  • AMEN, SISTER! Ohh if I could go back and do it all over. I'm officially selling my best bottom diaper stash. Wish me luck. They are practically brand new still and I'm selling it for cheap. Hopefully someone will jump on it! ~Heather

  • @LivestrongH2 I need to do that too!!!

  • Awh, I love Ava inserted in the background. lol So cute! You make me wanna cloth diaper my baby!!! (when we have one)

  • @shannorah Thanks :) And u should, it's easy and fun!!!

  • Love this title!!I love Ava side sneaking in... so distracting but love it!! I did not cloth until 6 months but never as a newborn... but we have had good luck with just one brand.

  • @alandamandamama Thanks :) I wish we had, they get expensive...

  • Hey girl great video i will like to try cloth diapers so thank you for the tip!! lol your hubby is so funny trying to get in the video you guys are too cute and ava!!

  • @Hope1981ful Thanks :)

  • Agree! My big thing DONT BUY ALL ONE BRAND OR STYLE. Wish I would have tried a few others. We have all one size and its nice for now but #2 will need smaller ones. My side of the family is great about cloth they do it so its not that big a deal. Hubby's side not so much LOL so we have disposables for the hubby and his side. He still isnt a fan of them......

  • @beautyisnteverything Hubby is a fan as long as I wash and fold them, and he doesn't have to change or clean poop. LoL Oh well, he does it occasionally, and I don't mind it.

  • Great video. We plan on cloth diapering #2, and I already have about 36 diapers, but tried to eb smart and did a ton of research. What kind of diaper rash cream do you reccomend and which detergent do you use?

  • @mydaughtermyworld You sound ready to go!!! Which diapers do u have? I like the grandma el's but have also used California baby cream, it was okay...grandma el's is clear not white, and smells good :) I use rockin green, and my diapers smell like nothing, which is great. Just clean, and no build up issues, ever.

  • Thanks for this video! I'm starting to think I might do cloth diapers when our time comes....

  • @GingerElle77 Aw :) It's fun I like doing it.

  • Favourited for future, future use (still TTC, but I know you can relate :)

  • @Angelalalynn Yes, for sure! Watched tons of these when ttc and 1st pregnant for ideas :)

  • if you could would u get the be prepared instead of bff?

  • @pearlsndcrowns Hubby would say yes. I'm not sure...I never really tried that one on. It looked huge, but maybe I would. I have a back up diaper bag in the car, in case I forget anything. Yes, overly prepared mom here. LoL!! So I guess I could pack less. I usually do over pack, as a new mom.

  • Love your videos. Make more!! Ava is adorable.

  • @NaughtyKat4034 Thanks!! I'll work on that

  • 0:16 Baby Win!!! LOL

  • @longlocks55 LoL thanks! :)

  • @00babyluv00 LoL sooo true.

  • you look great!

    avas gotten so big!!

  • @ReillyAJ I know!!! 13 and 1/2 lbs now, 25 1/2 inches long!!!!

  • Hello Ava! She is adorable :-) It's so great that you have made videos on cloths. There aren't many personal experience videos (or information, in general) out there.

  • @nelle4362 Thank you :)

  • You look beautiful, Susie! Great information video!

  • @BettyLorain Aw, thanks :)

  • Thank you so much for sharing your cloth diapering wisdom. I really appreciate the time you take just to share what you learned. i bought a bunch of bumgenius 4.0 because they were having a promotional sale, but now I'm going to try only a few of them to be convinced if I like them.

  • @missnget BG are my favorite!!! I'm curious if they're coming out with a 5.0 since the 4.0 are on sale everywhere (prob so)

  • ha lil ava was so cute and your hubby was funny - great video -

  • oh my goodness she is beautiful! Congrats again to you and your hubby!
