I'm 12 and I hate the fact of swallowing pills. I have Alopecia and the pills I have to take will help my hair grow back but I can't take them because I'm scared of big pills getting stuck in my throat and I can taste it when it's on my tongue. I've tried powdering it and putting it in my food, cutting it in half and doing what you did but I can't take it without vomitting. Whenever I put the pill close to my throat I instantly feel the need to vomit. My pills are bigger than yours are :(
I have a fear of swallowing pills too, mental block can't do it. What we should all do is protest pills and demand that everything be made in an alternative way too! I mean humans are smart right? Why can't we come up with a different way to take medicine that will save our lives!

you should not take capsule medication without the gelatine shell because the gelatine shell is on there for a reason. Capsule medication is very acidic and can harm your stomach lining. Try not to do this!!!!!!!!! I know its hard i use to be the same way
Get a banana. Take a piece, chew it up a bit, but not completely, place the banana in your mouth, and continue to chew/swallow the banana but avoid chewing the pill, and swallow.
i know how you feel man. I am fighting a lung infection and the antibiotics are huge. I can barely get a coated advil down. I've done four so far but the last two i had to crush up and it is beyond horrible.
I put this up partly so people in your situation wouldn't feel so alone. It's a real drag. Sometimes I can get stuff down, but the antibiotics I was taking when I made the video just wouldn't go. Good luck!

Dude, I had a kidney transplant and have to take 22 pills in the morning and more throughout the day. Ive posted a video showing how it's done. "pill taking demonstration for wussies". It just takes practice really. At first I tried to take them one at a time, using a pill splitter and crusher for the big ones. One day I just got tired of spending my days gagging on pills and just poured them in my mouth, took a diet coke and just started chugging. Trust me, you will feel a slight gag at first..

Some people have problems with the way their tongue and throat work, and they don't swallow like normal people do. I choke on all my pills. I have Lyme Disease and I get liquid and capsules for everything. We are not wusses and we are not "pussies."
Making the pill into powder takes away some of the effects of a pill because its supposed to break down inside you
