  • Dang that's not good

  • Even though it's 'new' u gotta clean and oil it. partial to every gun.

  • all i can say is buy a magpul p mag you wont have this problem

  • Ok use better cleaning supplies as well its jamming bc one the magazine and two the cycling process isn't working bc its not well oiled

  • U need to mags

  • Spikes tactical is my personal fav, put over 7000 rounds through it and never a prob plus I'm running magpul mags

  • bushmaster has gone to shit ever since they been landing military contracts if u want a good ar go smith&wes colt has gone to shit as well its like the only company u can depend on are the companies not currently under military contract.

  • love how you point it in the air loaded, always safe

  • Its a bad magazine jack ass. Also use Hoppes No.9 Lubricating Oil, not chicken grease.

  • did you clean it before you first shot it?

  • mags. most def. i filed the front of the mag down and i havent had a problem. its the same weapon that i own.

  • Yep get new magazines.Your rifle fire and ejected the brass in the chamber but did not feed a new round.Get new Mil Spec mags, stay away from Check Mate military because we had problems with those. Also check your spring you can get Wolf AR springs which are stronger and replace the follower.

  • i like the way the AR-15 platform Rifles look. but they have alot of problems... my dad was in the Army and i got to see how they operate on a range upclose. they jam up alot. they get dirty just by sitting if the barrels are not covered. and a grain of sand can jam it. they cost alot to buy, own and work on. upgrades are really expensive. and to repair one you might have spen a grand on. might cost you just as much as you paid for it to fix it. it looks cool. but cool does'nt get the job done.

  • Lol ak47 all day

  • Man, Im wanting to get one now Im scare too lol. It like the gas is turned off making it a bolt action. I have a yugo sks and you could turn the gas valve on and off. On on its semiauto on off its a bolt action. Anyway just looks like you got a lemon. Goodluck and take care. Also how do you like your Smith AR? Any recomends on what I should get?

  • @jamjedi1972 M&P 15 sport works excellent

  • Ammo

  • i just got one myself. cycles like a dream. somthings not right with that turd.

  • @gootime09 yea I flushed that turd

  • @gootime09 fan boy are you. maybe its a bad batch, try to understand the problem it my be less fun than insults but still don't be a ar fan boy.

  • congratulations you own a pump action bushmaster... Mine works fine... return that shit man

  • @smirkingjack bolt action

  • I know you don't own it anymore but...maybe there was a primer in the gas key.

  • shoot i have a1 upper i can trade that upper for yours

  • shoot ill buy the gun from you im in arkansas weres its all legit or ill but your upper

  • @jesselyle2186 sold

  • @BIGGxDAWG210 darn it for how much lol i could have fixed it cause i just would stripped it and re build it with for my m4 forgery i love the a2 style

  • ..... lol i love bushmaster

  • i have the same one never had a problem with it so far i love it

  • B C M

  • I can hear him breathin heavy lol

  • Thats a use gun that you probly bought from another mexican

  • i dont want to have this gun for zombi apocalypse^^

  • @Pseyco666 Not unless u wanna beat dem over the head with it.

  • hi check to make sure the gas tube is clean, use pipe cleaner with oil maybe that will help.

  • Nevermind the other looks like a .22lr AR... This probably ain't the issue but give it a check see if the locking pin that holds the bolt turned back into to position you would have it to disassemble.

  • Is that two separate AR's that are FTF?

  • Is this the Cartel or something?

  • Single shot ar15????

  • This seems to be an issue with under powered ammo. My AR will not cycle 45gr hp Winchester white box from Wal-Mart, it needs full power ammo. When I use good ammo my Bushmaster does not have any issues.

  • thats why you buy dpms..5000 rounds not 1 misfire that damn kitty cat!!!

  • @TheSageCommander1 Picked up an oracle brand new for 579. Threw anothe 400 at it and it's a mean rifle!!! youtube.com/watch?v=ZHi65dN1zYQ

  • I had same issue with my Bushmaster it was the steel cased ammo I was using I switched to PMC bronze or better and it has not missed a beat. I will shoot my Bushy with any S&W M&P no problem.

  • Just let it be a Bolt Action AR-15

  • Probably a problem with the magazine or gas block. I own a bushmaster and it has not had one ftf or fte after 3000+ rounds

  • HUGE critique here - Up in the air is NEVER a safe direction to point your weapon. Especially when you're having malfunctions and clearing the chamber.

  • Every one who wants to buy a bushmaster DONT!!!!!!! they are one of the worst ar's on the market. Along with stag, dpms, cmmg, rock river arms.

  • @DontTreadOnMe894 What do you base this information on? For your information CMT makes Colt, S&W, Stag, Rock River Arms, and Wilson Tactical. Stag is the sister company of CMT with the same address. I've had both Colt, Stag, Bushmaster and CMMG and had no problems with them. It's a simple fix if you use quality magazines. The springs in the magazines get old so replace them from time to time. If you buy a expensive rifle then you buy a quality scope, magazines and ammunition.

  • @DontTreadOnMe894 is there a single AR you do like?

  • @evoldevildogs sure i do, this isnt in any type of order smith & wessons M&P 15,Colt,BCM,Daniel Defense, Noveske

  • @ciarepairs LMAO

  • I bought a sig m400. First time taking it out had the exact same problem. Took the gun apart cleaned/gresed everything including the mag. Works like a charm now

  • AH YAY I saw where it says you sold it and got the M&P ! WAY TO GO! Now you can rock!

  • Bushmaster Sucks. Buy a Smith and Wesson M&P 15

  • bad magazine seen it before.

  • For anyone watching this video, if you experience the same problem:

    1. Examine the magazines for any obvious issues.

    2. Tap the back of the magazine firmly to seat the rounds in the mag.

    3. Reinsert the mag and tap twice firmly in an upward motion on the bottom of the mag.

    4. Try the forward assist or charging handle.

    5. If that doesn't work, try other mags in the weapon.

    6. Then try the same magazines in a different weapon (the guy in the vid had two ARs) to isolate bad mags.

  • @lmno456 The other AR was a 22lr.It was the gun (POS).I have used the very same mags on my new M&P15,works EXCELLENT

  • @lmno456

Just listen to the gun......... It's not feeding because the damm thing don't have a drop of oil on it.......

  • bushmaster is fucking garbage - even after they break in - waste of money

  • DAMNIT BENNER U SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER

  • @StephanieNblake Whos Benner?

  • @BIGGxDAWG210 I'm pretty sure he's calling you a "beaner". notice the trademark inability to spell most ignorant racist people tend to posses.

  • HOW MANY PESOS DID U PAY 4 IT

  • I got an M&P 15x after having tried the bushmaster. The fit and finish was also better. Never had any problems with it either.

  • did u get it fixed??

  • sounds like the gas block hole is not align with gas hole on the barrel cause the cycle to fail witch is easy to fix

  • Ok man id have to look at it my self but this could be a lot of things look at your Mag. those feed lips might not be letting the bolt face reliably strip rounds off the mag. or your buffer and buffer spring, your buffer spring might need to be replaced with a lighter spring. or you need a heaver buffer and have you tried adjusting the feed lips on one of those mags yet? like i said id need to fuck with it to figure it out. trouble shooting is a process.

  • clean your gun sir

  • She sounds a ill dry. Use better Amman and clean your gas ports you shouldn't have any more trouble. Just an armorers advice

  • It also may not have been getting enough gas.. on a second look at the video the bolt looked sluggish. It may be short stroking and the bolt might not be fully going to the rear of the extension tube.

  • That rifle may have been overgassed.. The gas was pushing the gas so fast that it was outrunning the magazine.. It probably had a light buffer in it. A heavier buffer may have solved this problem. The gas port may also have been drilled too large. This would also cause the bolt to outrun the magazine..

  • @scarred4life1 This is why the rifle worked every time when pulling the charging handle back. The gun was over-gassed. The bolt was moving too fast for the magazine to push a round up into the path of the bolt.. If you have any other AR related problems shoot me a PM. I only own and shoot 308 variant AR rifles but i have knowledge with the smaller 5.56 variants as well..

  • @scarred4life1 heaver buffer you think? or maybe a lighter spring.

  • @Zaku186 Now that i look at the video more i think the bolt is short stroking. So an adjustable gas block may help. What he needs to do is to load 1 round in the magazine fire the rifle and see if the bolt locks back. If so then it's over gassed probably. if the bolt doesn't lock back the rifle is short stroking. If it's short stroking he might need an adjustable gas block or have the gas port on the barrel opened up a few thousandths. Too much gas and the rifle needs a heavier buffer..

  • @scarred4life1 ah now that i think twice about it i agree.

  • @scarred4life1 I've had my AR short stroke with light loads so I think you are right on. Good info on using one round as a test.

  • i can take a sks or a ak an smoke both of them i dont like a ar.

  • @TheBellhelicopterman i like em all thats why I have all 3

  • @TheBellhelicopterman Damn Straight, me too!

  • Another quality piece from shrub master!

  • the first part it was obvious that the mag wasnt feeding rounds. You fire a round, next trigger pull get a click and then have to use the charging handle to feed another round. It seems that you have some shitty old mags that are probably have problems with the followers tilting and not feeding properly. Why buy a decent rifle and use some shitty old mags??

  • @yourfaceisuglyful That mag was the NEW factory mag that came with the gun...haha.....

  • See if the gas tube is half clogged. Bushmaster builds nice weapons... gotta be something simple, imo. Looks to me like its not cycling is all.

  • my colt ar15 is about 600 bucks more but dame it looks like it was worth it

  • Bushmaster..... You get what you pay for.

  • Must me one of the fast and furious guns Eric holder sold to mexicans..LMFAO

Just like our current administration ...It doesn't work.

  • it may be a bad magazine. sounds like there is some real bad metal on metal friction. maybe look at the buffer tube where the bolt carrier slides into the stock. thats where the sound is coming from.

  • This is why Americans were given the right to bear arms. Thumbs up though for trying holmes foe realz yo

  • Comment removed

  • Bushmasters have very consistent feeding problems. Dpms is even worse though.

  • bad rifle man

  • You need some serious lube it's so dry it may suck it up if any touched that bolt. Nah bu u need oil bad that's actually probley the main part of the issue out the box I lubed my bushmaster AR and hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of rounds later not one misfeed or jam or failure to battery or anything. Though can be something with the gas tube lining up or something but I can clearly hear it sounds like your gun was washed with Dawn's hand grease cutting soap. Put some oil on that damn thing

  • @WaterfrontBoss soaked it in oil,same shit

  • Hey pedro,we leave the taco making to you leave the guns to us!

  • @Kidwitha12gauge you probably are a cracker redneck, I don't think your mommy and daddy being brother and sister was not a good thing.

  • @chingatumamey Yeah my parents are inbred and I still use proper english, why can't you?

  • @Kidwitha12gauge A comma, between you and leave,would help.Talking about proper english,what about a proper sentence.

  • @Kidwitha12gauge Because, I just learned it. Four years and I think I'm getting better at it. Soon enough my english will better than yours. This is a beatiful country, but becuase of shit like you, this country is not YET what this country use to be. FYI, I moved to the USA 4 years ago, I have a business and I have true americans working for me. Pedazo de mierda.

  • @chingatumamey I could learn spanish in 3 weeks, you have had four years to learn english.

What do you run a crack house?

  • @Kidwitha12gauge hahaha you are DUMB!!! not only you admit that your parents were blood related, but you are saying you can learn another language in 3 weeks. Funny shit!!! Translate this in 3 weeks: Tu eres la basura que hoy en dia abunda en este hermoso pais, lleno de odio, tu alma se pudre.

Dude, stop doing crack, why are you looking for a new crack house? did the one on your shit hole of town run out?

  • @chingatumamey Your english is fucking horrible, did you learn it from your drug dealer?

  • @Kidwitha12gauge HAHAHAHA you are fucking DUMB. You think my english is fucking horrible... is this the best your little brain can come up with?

  • @chingatumamey Im just telling the truth, your english blows

  • Its extracting so obviously the gases are entering the gas tube fine but it isn't chambering a new round. Seems to be a shitty mag. Get some pmags. Everything else is functioning well if it was the gas block it wouldn't cycle or extract.

  • When you rack it with the charging Händel it sounds like you need to clean and oil it.

  • It's your gas block or gas key. I had the same problem with a BM upper. The gas block built into the front site was not aligned with the port in the rifle. $80 to fix it after troubleshooting a few other things. The guy in the video with the beard kinda looks like the dick that sold me the piece of shit at a WAC gun show.

  • @abclark1836 HAHA.....Naw not me i returned it to the store were I bought it

  • The Bushmaster is a awesome weapon but after seeing this, there are times when the 2nd amendment should be repealed on certain individuals .. These individuals are definitely on the repeal list.. Wanna be cholo's with an AR.. Like giving a monkey a hand grenade..

  • @Doberman144 love dem HATERS

  • Lear how to shot nit wit!

  • @trudy6348 Learn how to spell,dumbass

  • Bushmaster is just a piece of shit. What did you expect for $800? Just fork over the extra cash and get a Daniel Defense or like he did and get the M&P. For rifles anything under 1000 is crap, just like anything under 400 for a handgun will be crap as well.

  • @berwak23

honestly your stupid price dont mean shit half the time when you buy your daniel defense your just paying for the name and a good barrel thats it and a pistol for under 400 is crap ounce again your really dumb

  • it seems to be your buffer spring..or the mag to me...what was the prob? did you eva figure it out

  • @cpercival02 no,just returned it

  • i have a carbon15 pistol and i never have a problem with it

  • i already see the problem the problem that you have was with the gas rings are allmost align that is the normal ar problem the gas rings become to align and the gas amount is not the properly to push the bolt carrier back the gas rings should be 120 degrees apart at least 90 you will have the same problem with every ar no matter the company is the gas rings align

  • I wanna add an AR to my AK collection. Mabe I should watch more videos first.

  • @rogermcgee1 My M&P 15 sport is a great gun and at a good price

  • you are shooting a AR platform dry.

wtf did you think would happen?

the ar is a awesome rifle, but you need to treat it right to get it to treat you right.

seriously, get some damn cheap clp in the thing and then try again.

  • @CopperLeagueGaming Read my description, dumbass. It was a POS plain and simple

  • AR-15's are good as light, handy rifles. Little felt recoil. Cheap (sort of) ammo compared to the much maligned .308 rifles.

The only teensy issues they have is a failure to feed, failure to extract and excessive fouling of the gas piston after repeated shooting. They are extremely sensitive to what mags you use. If there's any deformity of the lips on the mag, it will fail to feed properly.

Other then that, they are awesome!

Get an EOTECH and a flashlight attachment. That looks cool.

  • @brasso4u Got rid of the Bush and got a M&P15. 1000+ rounds with no issues, luv it

  • It's short stroking, Walmart ammo (winchester white box) or Wolf.

  • He got the Nancy Pelosi version by mistake. Single shot.

  • @Pepsifx357 Weapon of the future.lol

  • This could be one of two problems you are either using bad ammo or damaged magazines.

  • @nrafreek had the same problem with some of my old mags

  • The weapon is short stroking. The bolt is not moving far enough to the rear to allow the magazine spring to push a new round into the chamber. The problem is most likely caused by the gas system. Remove and clean the gas block and rod.

  • @DBSOC I do not want to keep blowing up BIGGxDAWG210's page so i will email you..lol

  • Bro i am sorry i have left so many comments on this and i in no way have any disrespect for you at all sir!!! :) I also have watched alot of your video's and enjoy your channel sir :) It looks like your M&P 15 has saved you from hating AR15's lol I have a video on my channel where i helped a friend build a nice AR15 for under 750.00 with a rail light and laser on it so i am not a bushmaster snob at all! lol

  • @Mr5point56 its all cool

  • @BIGGxDAWG210 dude, relax, its your magazine. Your rifle is fine, the mag isn't feeding the rifle. Your rifle is cycling just fine.

  • @DBSOC Its not your buffer spring.IF you are having the 100% same problem as he did where you have to pull the charging handle back and let go for it to chamber the next round then you are getting blow by past the rings on your bolt its an easy fix if nothing is damaged..if it is damaged then bushmaster has a 100% guarantee against parts and they are the only ones with a FULL lifetime warranty.

  • My bushmaster runs with any ammo any oil any mags.if you take a M&P15 or any other AR15 and take them apart they are the same so when your gun short strokes its the rings being lined up and not being spaced right. My last AK used to short stroke all the time miss feed ect so any gun can have issues thats why we need to know how to take them down clean fix ect...just like pitbulls its not the dog its the owner most of the time..NOW i know that some guns are just made bad as my kimber TLE2 was.

  • @Mr5point56 I spaced the rings it was a POS plain and simple.

  • @BIGGxDAWG210 I am not saying that it was not...I sent my kimber back 2 times they had my gun for a total time of just over 7 months and gave me nothing in return for it.The 2nd time i got it back it still was not working like it should..I will never own another kimber again so i know how you feel when you pay good money for an item and do not get what you pay for.My bushmaster did that to my once but it was my fault as i forgot to space the rings out when i cleaned it.No more short stroking

  • @Mr5point56 To me once* typo there sorry about that. :)

  • @Mr5point56 I can't wrap my head around your logic. So it's the owners fault if the gun doesn't work?

  • @esh325 He stated that he tryed mags oil and ammo....no where did he say that he tryed to space the O rings the correct way until someone else stated that.I BELIEVE HE IS TELLING THE TRUTH.but i am no rookie when it comes to AR platform rifles and like everything that is mechanical it is also subject to failure. That being said when ANY "AR" or gas operated firearm short strokes like his was its not oil, mags or ammo its blow by. Alot of gun owners make mistakes including myself.

  • @Mr5point56 The AR was "New Out The Box"It will not chamber sometimes ,Failure to fire,Failure to feed and Failure to Eject you cant blame all that on gas rings.

  • @Mr5point56 They look the same until you break out some calipers. Improperly or not at all staked gas carrier keys, castle nuts, mis aligned front sight posts. Seen all these problems on a contract that issued XM15E2S. It is an obvious flaw with Bushmasters QA.

  • change your bolt bro.

  • @bok50021 I returned it and got a refund.

  • use pmags

  • @iHeartSar3s I use the same mags on my M&P15,work just fine.

  • yeah i did that too i referred to bushmasters opmanual and they told me to stagger them 360 degrees

  • @Doja421 You mean 120 there 3 rings the gaps have to be 120 apart from each other.

  • @BIGGxDAWG210 yeah thats what i meantto say ,got confused

  • im going through the sameproblems, need help.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Doja421 Have you tried diff. mags,ammo,oil?

  • @BIGGxDAWG210 yup, tried clp than hoppes no9 diff mags pmags colt hk etc, took it apart cleaned gas rings took all carbon off all parts , tried diff ammo 5.56 penetrators 223 rem all sorts still nothing, took the gas rod out and made sure it was lined up properly, im just frustrated with it now

  • @Doja421 Tried staggering the gaps on the gas rings so there not so close to each other.

  • we have same problem. mine is bushmaster with a 7.5" barrel. failure to feed and eject.

  • @bok50021 suks, try using high dollar ammo.

  • I hate piles of shit. Too bad it didn't work out for you bro.

  • @tjh141994 Yeah it sucked.

  • was it the mags , or the gas tube ? that is to bad bro , hope you get it worked out

  • @wombatbull Tried different mags, ammo and checked gas tube.Got rid of it .bought me a M&P15

  • Excellent shooting video. Did you find out why it was jamming?

  • @TheMultiGunMan .No I just returned it and bought a M&P15.
