  • Thanks Mr.P :D

  • This was a ton of help thank you so much :)

  • Sorry, But ... Shouldn´t the hydrocarbon & the O2 be the reactants as explained at the beginning of the lesson ?

  • @rafarodrisala I placed annotations over a year ago that corrected that mistake.

  • Okay so how would I write the balanced equaton of .....

    potassium chlorate

Why isn't there a plus sign??

  • @prettyhall1 You can't just try to balance a compound.

  • Big Help man! If you are not a teacher, then get that freak'in teachers degree! Perfectly explained with numerous examples. Very well. Please make more!

  • THANK YOU THANK YOU! That was awesome :)

I actually get it and by the end I was answering the questions you were asking!

  • I freaking love your notes on this subject! It makes everything sound so much more simple! Thanks a bundle.

  • @susantarlitz You are very welcome. I'm glad I was able to help. Best of luck with the rest of your studies.

    Mr.P

  • Wow this i very helpful and organized very clearly!

    Thank you

  • thanks so much for all ur vids!!

  • So basically the only products in a COMPLETE combustion is always CO2 and H20, but depending on the Hydrocarbon, the amount varies correct?

  • These are very good...chem is not my best area...keep putting these out! they're great!

  • thank u so much for this video i was super confused, this helped me alot thank uuuu

  • @priety1985 You are very welcome. I'm glad I was able to help. Best pf luck with your studies.

    Mr.P

  • thank u very much for this video i was super confused this helped me alot thank u

  • It's a really good video. And it helped alot. I'm studying for my chemistry exam right now, and I think you pretty much covered in 8 minutes what it took our techer 3 hours to teach.

But the sound is really soft. Is there any way you can fix it?

  • okay?

  • If it doesn't state if it is complete or incomplete, and tells us to form carbon dioxide and water, should we assume it is a complete?

  • you are amazing, this helped sooo much

    thankyouu!

  • You are very welcome. Thank you for watching. Best of luck with your studies.

    Mr.P

  • great teacher, much better then what who i have now

  • THANK YOU VERY VERY VERY VERY MUCH!!!

  • Oh man I still don't get how you know if it's a complete and incomplete combustion, would the question say it? or do you figure it out?

  • it will tell you

  • Hi thanks for watching. The question will either ask you to write an equation for a complete or an incomplete combustion. Otherwise it may ask you to identify that it is complete or incomplete combustion, but it will give you the equation - the additional compounds in the products determine that it is an incomplete combustion. Hope this helped. Best of luck with your studies.

    Mr.P

  • 6:45

    Isn't the CnHm + 02 the reactants?

  • Thank you sooo much. I didn't catch it. I was in a rush to get this podcast done. Best of luck with you studies and thanks for watching.

    Mr.P

  • Ah thank you so much! Our teacher never even explained combustion reactions, yet they're on the study guide? Haha thank you.

  • one more thing for balancing the combustion equation= Cx Hy plus O2 = CO2 plus y/2 H20

  • thanks you are so dedicated to students....you rock.

  • smart board??

  • Yes it is. I need to purchase a portable one so I can make these videos from home instead of coming in to work at 6 in the morning. Lol

  • Thanks for the lesson man!
