I find it funny how ppl make up stories as to why Leo made CJ COS. I'm pretty sure the writers took this route so Josh could be free to leave for a presidential campaign. I love that CJ got the job, but I think it's pretty obvious it otherwise would've gone to Josh (the Deputy COS and the guy who was chased by 3 different candidates to run their campaign).

I gotta say none of this is working for me.  Man this show took a fucking nose dive after Sorkin left. "I feel like I'm handing out towels at the playboy Mansion", "Did u take an awkward pill". Is that shit suppose to be funny? This show use to have me in tears.

@WildAnimalRap You can definitely tell Whitford wrote this episode. It feels like CJ is channeling her inner Josh as she says these lines. Knowing Josh wrote them, it seems more funny, but yeah, Sorkin was sorely missed.

I think this was Josh Molina's best scene in the entire series, and don't know whether to credit Bradford's writing or Berstein's direction. CJC recast as Chief of Staff is still way too beyond my ability to suspend disbelief, but in this scene she pulls it off - again, either because of the writing or the direction.
