  • I understand the songs about the guy confessing to his friend that he's gay lolol.

  • "and your prejudice wont keep you warm to night". Is that right, Mozza?

Keeps you in the papers though doesnt it, you whore.

  • BAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

WHO IS THAT FUCKING GUY WITH THE FUCKING GLASSSES IN THE FIRST SLIDE

    HAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHA

    WHAT A FUCKIN DOOOSH HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • @rockchick80s Im 15 and absolutely love this song and the smiths!

  • hey, what difference does it make?

  • Haha, well not quite, that song just deals with theft of words in - well - Morrissey's way :) He's just too good at fooling people in constantly new ways.

Got the last album? There's a song 'It's not your birthday anymore' sweet romantic song - fans melt - between the lines is the situation of rape inside a marriage. Shocking and brilliant. Well this is what I understand under 'interesting' lyrics. But I'm a geek lol :-)

  • hmm misclick.

But just the lyrics for Cemetry Gates alone prove how good he is. You gotta love how he warns - like a 'decent' writer- not to steal words. People shouting all over the world: "Yeah! Moz is right, a good lyricist like him is original and produces real feelings from the heart!" (--> the idiots i refered to :P)

He actually stole half his text from 'The man who came to dinner', misspells 'cemetery' , mispronounces plagiarise&refers to cyrano de bergerac. But shh to the 'big' fans:)

  • Haha, well he certainly is extremely well read and references to half of the world literature appear in his work, though very subtly woven through his lines to pull open a extremely wide range of reading possibilities. He certainly is the most literate man in pop history in my eyes.

But hey, that's my opinion. I noticed you have a big interest in art. I happen to have a huge interest in literature. But I'm no idiot who worships Morrissey for all he is
