kayman island! i went there on the carnival legend cruse ship.

it is cool/ one of the stingrays is so nice you can kiss, and another is frizbee, and thats because it has no tail. but anyways, its really fun!

the barb of a stingray's tail is like a serrated knife and could easily impale a person.. a person who is stung is more likely to suffer from perforation of arteries or blood vessels. a little wake up call for you delusional people being overly fascinated by these sting rays

They are not debarbed but they are used to people. They are pretty much wild and hang out at the sandbar. I just got back from there!

man i was suposed to do this wen i went on carnival glory but the tides were 2 hight so the speed boats couldnt come get us 2 drop us at grand cayman so we had 3 sea days instead of 2 ;(

Stingrays are not dangerous at all unless you do something entirely stupid like provoke them.

Otherwise they are extremely gentle creatures. They dont' even have teeth

Yeah, well at least in the Florida Keys I was at this one reef there was one every where you looked in the shallow parts of the water, but in the deep only dangerous thing we saw were tons of Baracudas one followed me for 20 minutes I was WTF do you want...
