This will seem somewhat off-topic, but how do you find th Warp magic? I read an FAQ saying it was somewhere in Ruins 1, but it wasn't very specific. Can someone help a guy out?
@skyrunner14 ok in ruins 1 there are the two holes that make u drop into b1 right? well u go to the left(?) one i think then i think u go right up to it or 1 space bak from it; then jump into the hole. now u should be in a large area; if not it was the wrong side or it was the wrong spaces. look around the new area then u should find stairs to area1 and a sound room. keep exploring and u should find warp magic laying on the ground. hope i could help :0
I remember when I first played this game on the SNES. .I thought it was pretty rough and quit. About 10 years later, I picked it up and gave it another shot, and I found it to be really fun and engrossing.
It isn't that much harder to beat the final boss, but it's easier to cast the three buffs (Heal/Barrier/Double) then do a hit and run strategy. Fall back and repeat. It only gets hard if your Magic Resistance is low, since he casts magic as an attack and it hurts even at 99.00
BTW, if you don't have Double Magic, does that make the game nearly impossible to beat? I hate that about games -- where if you miss one little obscure item, it becomes crazy hard to beat.
@kikko well no. you can still beat the game but you have to hit things twice as much w/o usin double magic. it justs doubles ur atk and its extremely helpful on berebus :)
Double ATK lets you pierce ALL armor and actually does more than double damage. It sucks that you can't get it until all Giant Lobsters have been encountered/defeated. :(
e.g. Imagine this example. You have ARM 20 + Short 2 = 22 ATK. Enemy has 28 DEF. Normally you would be forced to deal 1 DMG but with DOUBLE MAGIC the formula becomes ARM 40 + Short 2 = 42 ATK and minus 28 DEF = Varik deals 14 DMG instead of 1. The game is very simple when it comes to formulas.
awesome, thanks. I started playing this in february, then picked it up again around May, but haven't come back to it since. Been meaning to though, I like it a lot more than others. It's not that bad a game =)
@double2me go to gamefaq and search the game for a guide. im not sure what u mean by forest tho :S

"Where is Warp Magic" you say? See my video response. There is a trick involved.

just push the pick up/action button on the right side of every pillar south east of the magic circle you teleported into the room on

Can somebody try to rip and convert the fonts used in the blue windows in this game into TrueType format?
