  • this is very easy i think am going try it out..thanks for the tip

  • THAT WAS THE BEST TUTORIAL OF FALSIES I HAVE SEEN..I AM LEFT HANDED AND UR WAY MADE IT SO EASY THANKS SO MUCH..WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Nice

  • i loved this method so much that i subscribed!

  • thank you so much for the info, it helped me look fabulous 2nite!!! <3

  • It's called an orange stick because the wood is traditionally from an orange tree...

  • Your technique was the most helpful technique I've tried! Believe me, I've been trying for 6 years without very good outcomes! Thanks!

  • i laughed to the look on ur face the whole time.....good job !!!

  • You make it look too hard

  • Your way looks cool so I'm going to try it=)

  • this was so helpful to me because im left handed and the other way was killin me and takin way yo long thanks

  • nice... it definitely helped me.. thanks

  • your eye lashes dont look really good, and they were probably like 4 dollars? maybe more? if you go to dollar store or the 99 cents store they have these lashes by a company called fashion lashes, the most amazing lashes you will ever buy, they look fantastic and not all clumpy and fake like some do, but you have really pretty eyes, nice tutorial though it actually looks like its better than when you just apply it to the fakes

  • thisis the easiest for me!!! thanks never would hhave thiught to put on lashes this way!!!

  • OMG, I know about that problem of curled lashes... because mine are NATURALLY curled, so I have to put them down with my fingers to apply the falsies!!!

And, girl... Applying falsies is really not easy... But you made it so much more difficult!!! lmao

  • You're not weired! You're adorable!

  • thanks for the method....im the same like zannah...it ruined my makeup n making me crazyyy

  • clever way to apply .defo gonna try this great video.

  • It's actually Orange WOOD stick. I suppose they left out "wood"? Hehee.. I love ur method :)

  • makes sense to me! thanks for sharing

  • I tired it and It works for me. Thanks

  • i like it! very clean

  • great idea, I will try it out, very nice video great explanation thank you so much

  • cant wait to try this method beautiful job

  • i have lashes like urs

  • makes sense to do i this way this way you have more control of where the clue goes. theres been many atime when I have applied my eyeshadow for it to be ruined at the end due to me slipping with the lashes with the wet glue on them....GRRRR! Thanks for the alternative...not crazy ....smart

  • ya you make this more harder than it has to be but whatever makes you happy........i like ur make-up vids.

  • someone said applying mascara with false eyelashes ruins them

but it only seemsright to blend the eyelashes

wat do yu think and also how do get mascara out of

    the fake lashes afterwards

  • wow i didnt think it would work out at first but now i really think im going to start applying my lashes like this =] before i tried this, i always got the glue everywhere except for where it needed to be thanks this really helps =]

  • i miss living in hawaii....the music is so soothing

  • Wow. Way smart. Great idea.

  • I have to say that this is probably the best method to not get glue on the lid by accident and mess up your eyeshadow and whatnot...but it all seems time-consuming.

  • do demi mean shor lashes??

  • Comment removed

  • I have never had good luck applying falsie lashes. The nearest store that sells them is 40 miles away, but after watching this I'm tempted to make the drive... Thanks for the video. : )

    You are beautiful.

  • I always enjoy learning how ppl do things, even (especially?) if it's unconventional :)

Thanks for the new take on how to do it!

  • I thought about doing it this way but I thought no way. Thankx very much.

  • OMG I can't wait to try this

    this totally makes sense

    Wow

    I am thankful for you

I don't think your weird at all I think you make the most sense

    thanks again

  • Wow so clever! Loved it and going to try it tomorrow. Wish me luck.

  • Where do you get this "orange stick"?

  • I saw this video long time ago, and loved it and returned back to love false eyelashes again.I use the old way, that is applying the glue to the lashe line. But the entire look you did with the liner and shadow is adorable. Can you make a new video on false eyelashes?

    I love you

    Koka

  • I like to see how you take out that lashes after use and I like to know if you have any specific brand for the lashes. To me looks very natural. Please let me know. Thanks

  • Great tutorial. Thank you!

  • Super diferente!!!! but very much easier thanks

  • this way is soooo much easier! i messed up my make up last time coz the glue on the lashes slid over my eyelid! arghhhh.

applying glue directly to skin will stop this.

    thanx girl!

  • THANK YOU for doing this, I was starting to think I was stupid 'cause I can't apply the lashes the way everyone else is explaining. Lol, I get into such a mess.

You've really helpped me, thank you :).x.

  • i have the Demi Wispies and I <3 them. Great video!

  • Hii!! no matter what lashes i wear they alll look soo unnatural and unattractive one me..sometime i think i look better off without it however as you video said...i do have small eyes and that you suggest that i cut them so that they fit my eye ( i was just wondering if you can do a tutorial, adive on how to cut the lashes and how do i know how much to cut of)

  • Can anyone please tell me where do you buy Lash grip glue?

  • Depending on where you live, most places have a small beauty supply company. I buy it at Sally's. Even Walmart, Target, etc. should sell it in the cosmetics section, and it's the same stuff you can buy in a beauty store. =]

  • i didn't think that was weird. That's just an easier way for her to put them on and i honestly think that it looks really nice and easy...

  • I don't put the glue on my skin, in case you're allergic, just the eyelashes.

  • lolol ur funny :p

  • Fabulous video, thank you, I shall try your method tomorrow night!!

  • how long does this normally last?

  • Lasts for as long as I'm wearing them...which sometimes has been all day. :)

  • Wow! I have heard "Talofa Teine" song in a long time. love the tutorial.

  • Nice :) I love your lashes!

  • ulara84, why don,t you get a thickening mascara...if your eyelashes are long, and curl..why bother with falsies, just find a mascara you like!

  • That looks like it takes a lot of patience and hard work. I would have been so frustrated. Good job though!

  • oh wow thank you so much for this video. false eye lashes are really a pain in the butt especially for me. i have long lashes and they curl naturally but they are not so thick. this really helps cuz i've always put the lash glue on first then struggled to put them on. this way is so much easier and better. thanks again hun.xoxo =D

  • This was an awesome video. Nice to know there's more ways than one to do something and still get the end result. By the way, Heaven Sent Love is by the group Believe. My cousin was in the band. Anyway, keep on posting. I'm lovin' your videos. Aloha!

  • yu are veryyy cuteee!!!!

i love the vidio yu make it fun to watch with your little captionnss =]

    LOL @ the "orange stick"

  • I always wanted to try this but all the other videos make it look so hard,..your video makes it seems kinda easy

  • that wasss really gooddddd

  • omg thank u so much, ive tried every other way to apply lashes and this is sooo much easier! thank u sooo much!

  • Whats funny is i do it the same way it's easier to me

  • i never saw someone putting the glue on the eye lid... rather then the fake lash!!

    that might work :P

you really got it close to the lid.. looked really nice!

i always forget to make sure its tacky!!!

    before applying the fake lash

    thanks

how do you clean them, is there a special product.. cuz some lashes are expensive (mine cost 40$)

  • OMG girl! $40?!?! Screw the special cleaning product! Check out EnkoreMakeup's video on "Cleaning Used Faux Lashes"!! Life saver!

  • I'm going to try this method ASAP because girl I've had hell putting on fake lashes. I'm telling you I knew there had to be another method. Thank you!!!!Thank you!!!!!

  • Orange stick means a wooden stick (as they used to be) made up of wood from an ORANGE TREE!!!!

    Kisses from Spain: GUAPA!!!!!!!!!!

  • wow i never thought of doing it that way

  • how long will these stay? are they ment to be re aplied everyday? can you shower with them? please answer

  • THANK YOU! I had given up hope that I would ever be able to apply my own lashes, but then I ran across your video. Your way really worked for me (I'm rocking some falsies right now). You're amazing! =)

  • I think your tutorial was great and who says different is weird! I am going to use your way tomorrow when I go to a Christmas party. It looks easier applying the glue to the lid instead of on the falsies.

  • wow they loook sooo real, well done

ps ur eyes r gorgeous :P

  • .that looks like its sooooo much easier.

    .thanks ; ].

  • I think it's the harder way!! and not so good for u r real lashes, cause the glu sæt fast on them!

  • You're not supposed to glue them to your real lashes. You apply the glue above your natural lashes, right where you'd put the false ones.

  • whats a asæt?

  • Nice tutorial and pretty look.

  • You are so pretty I love the eyeshadow you had on it was sooo pretty!

  • looks easier that way. nice job. thank you.

  • i LOOOOOVE falsies... when done well they can really accent the beauty of your eyes..and i loved this vid... I had been thnkin out doing it this way but I guess i had a brainfart b/c I couldnt think how i would apply the glue in a thin line..NOW I KNOW !!

    TY soo much

p.s. your eyes looked spectacular !

  • thats excelelnt im gonna try and do mine now, will keep you posted xx

ps you orange stick is the same as my cuticle hoof haha xx

  • How long will the fake eyelashes stay put by the way if done properly?

Can you sleep with it? Soak it?

This is just fascinating. I'm thinking of applying some myself, but I'm a novice, so I'm just quite intrigued.

  • I did makeup for one of my friends one time, and applied falsies to her like this. She got drunk and feel asleep still wearing them and when she woke up she still had them on. I tend to not fall asleep wearing them. I always pull them off before going to bed, but they'll last me all day.

  • Great video! Thanks for the tutorial:-)

  • ur NOT supposed to put the glue on ur eye,put it on the eyeliahes duhhhhh

  • your song reminds me of my hula days:D just because the begining :D

  • very good! I love to use false lashes! Too easy way!

Where i can find orange stick?

    Thank you very much!

  • its also called a cuticle hoof, try an good chemist in the nail section, hope this helps x

  • Your local drug stores, Ulta, Walmart. They're pretty easy to find anywhere. :)

  • thanks this was really informative and helps me out alot!!! u go girl!!!

  • When i do it i put the giue on the lash then on the eye corner to corner but this way seems "neater" maybe easier for the beginner

  • oy! teine! I love it!! I just started wearing fake lashes and I always mess 'em up! Great video!!

  • thanks for the info girl! haha magaia lou playlist! faafetai kuuipo!

  • GREAT!!!! THANX

  • It's called ORANGE cause the orignal sticks were made from orange trees' wood.

  • Being a girl is a lot of work. Thanks for the video!! :)

  • could you use just regular makeup remover to remove the falsies?? thx!

  • Yep. The same makeup remover that I use for my eyes, I also use to remove the glue. Typically I just pull the lashes off cause it doesn't really hurt for me when I do that...plus I don't glue the falsies to my natural lashes, which helps in it not hurting. But using makeup remover to remove falsies is a good way to help dissolve the glue, making it easier to remove the false lashes. :)

  • Wow! False eyelashes applied with false orange stick! What a concept!

Of course, it's a lot harder to find a REAL orange stick; I'm lucky, my grandmother gave me one about 15 years ago.

Companies usually use plastic, or sometimes any kind of wood, instead of orange wood, wich is soft enought to avoid injuries when pushing cuticles with it.

Anyway, very useful to see what to do, especially for those like me who never speak english; understand it, but harder for specific techniques...

  • ur so freakin smart =]

tried ur method cuz it made so much more sense n my falsies looked better than ever

    xoxo

  • Thank you so much for sharing the experience . I had been given one of these kind of tool for applying the glue from a friend but I didnot know what it's used for , so I threw it away, ha ha , after watching your video I see it's useful , then have to buy it , You had given a precious lesson , I'd like to try someday . Thanks

  • Clear and easy tutorial. fantastic video! Good on you and your "weird" way of applying your false lashes! not weird at all but it looks even more easier applying them your way =) btw, you look real gorgeous when you have falsies on!! theylook real!

  • ur very pretty

  • i think your way actually makes more sense and it looks easier than applying the glue to the fakes themselves

  • I bought some fake ones for Halloween, I'm going to use this method instead. Makes more sense.

  • how do you remove them? i've seen lash glue remover but i'm not sure if it's really necessary :S

  • ur not wierd i find it rather interesting the way u apply your lashes.

  • i just love all your videos.. and this one the best.. cuzz i love the opening song!!!

    hehehe

    cccccccchhhhhhhhhoooooooooohhhhhhhhhhoooooo

  • your videos make me laugh so incredibly hard !

    thanks for the tips :)

  • GIRL you've done well in teaching a technique that works well for many. THANK-YOU LOVE.

  • I just wanted to tell you thank you thank thank you!!!!! I kept thinking it would be easier to apply lashes, if I could put the glue directly on my eyes, but I didn't try it until after I saw you Tutorial! I did it and my lashes are PERFECT!!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!! ;-)

  • The orange stick can be found & purchased at any Beauty supply store (I call it a cuticle stick since they all are not orange). Sometimes you can even purchase them at Duane Reade, RITE AID or CVS. They are very cheap.

  • WOW! I wished I watched this video before applying my lashes in previous years. My mistake I think was applying the glue to the base of the lashes rather than above the lash line as in this video. Man, applying false eyelashes is one of the most time consuming, frustrating things ever man! I never look foward to doing it. But after its done your eyes look GORGEOUS! I will try this next time I wear false eyelashes next time, looks easier!

  • thats a good way to apply the glue.i put glue on the middle and the two ends only without goin all the way and i use tweezers to hold them to my lashline but i will definitly try your way.thanks

  • I just tried it this way and it was SO easy...got it on the first try thank you so much!

  • So when you remove the lashes does the glue stay on your eyelid or does it come off ont the lashes? Very different technique1 Thanks for sharing!

  • very cool! :)

  • You're just as 'weird' as me :-) Love it!

  • beautiful eyes

  • it seems easier if you apply the glue onto the falsie

  • This is awesome! And to think, all this time I've been slapping on glue, holding my breath and hoping for the best. Great tutorial, thank you so much for sharing your tips!

  • why do they call it orange stick?

why do they call coco butter, coco butter? it doesn't taste like coco or butter.

  • awesome song choices. i <3 keahiwai :)

  • Thanks for the vid...i'm useless at things like this. I only ever tried this once and it didn't go very well! Lol.

Could you possibly help out and give a few tips on how to create the perfect cat eye? I can never seem to get the right shape or length...cheers :)

  • i find it easy just putting the glue on the false lashes then just sticking them wiv my fingers

but i put them on every day so its like second nature to me now lol

ur amazing at the eye makeup

  • Excellent tips!!! just in time... =D

  • Nice..Been messing up my lashes sticking glue onto the lashes first! Gonna try ur method on monday again. ^^

  • Choooooohooooooo!!! Talofa Teine how are you today!!!

Get em..those are the jamz girl!! love it!!

  • lol...i agree...those songs are the best!!!

    SAMOANS ROCK!!!

    i'm half samoan!!!

  • thank you i like really needed that....and it looks way better then some pros work i've seen done....and i dont have to pay 25.00 thank GOD!!!!

  • your way looks a little less frustrating...i was ready to give up trying to put false lashes but ill try putting it your way....and see what happens..

  • Im soo gonna buy sum falsies and try it yur way...it looks soo much easier your way

  • nice idea

  • and what do u do if u glue da fake lash to ur natural one?... i've heard that u should b very careful not to do this ever... what happens if i do? and what do i do?

  • OMg it LooKs SO mUch EaSiEr tHIS Way Im so GOiNG to Try It

  • I tried this last night and it was sooooo much easier than putting the glue on the lashes first! Thanks for this!!! - PS - It isn't weird, it is just your method! ....and hell it works better than the directions that come with the lashes!!! xoxoxoxoxox

  • that looks really good.

  • umm alot of girls is useing the weave glue for the lashes its a better hold

  • your eyes are like catherine zita jones

  • talofa, loveed the video. especially loved the music...reminded me all my samoan friends (and bf) love ur methods!!

  • I love the technique. Love your humor too.

  • very helpful...ive been having problems with false eyelashes..ill try this technique

    thanks

  • I don't really know if someone already said this to you but their called orange sticks because the first ones that appeared (that are still used today, at least here in europe) were actually made from wood from the orange tree because it's a "soft wood" that doesn't break easily but won't hurt you either because thin ends tend to kinda bend. :) the strange thins people know, go figure :)

  • aloha girl !!! cool how to videos. keep it up. k-den from oahu :)

  • can i just ask a random question? how come you have samoan music on this vid? it's funny and bizarre :) i was shocked to hear the song come up? good stuff! :)

  • They're called orange sticks since they're supposed to be small pieces of an orange tree; however, I've saw them made of plastic which is not an orange stick to me anymore.

  • how do you remove the lashes?

  • Can you tell me the name of the song i love it.

  • I'm loving your vids on how to apply the make up and the nice little tricks that you use. I really loved that you use the music that I listen to EVERYDAY. I live on Kauai. Thanks for the vids and keep them coming.

  • you aren't that weird I've even seen some dragqueens do it that way and I've even tried it. so thanks for showing us an alternative.

    Peace.

  • I think they're called orange sticks because they were made with orange wood at one point in time... not exactly sure though :) I'm definitely going to try this method. Maybe it's just because I've never used falsies before, but I really suck at putting them on, lol!

  • This is cool. I have to try it.

  • thanks ..some times my friends ask me to do that for them ..thaks again now I know how to put to them ...

  • well it looks to me like she's applying them on her skin

  • heya...

i was wondering if you could tell me if you put the false eyelashes on your actual eyelashes or the skin because lots of people say different things. i was also wondering if false eyelashes are reusable or not..

    thankys ..xx

  • Cool! I have never done false eyelashes because I did not known where to begin. I will definitly try. You did a great job!

  • i've never owned an orange stick but it looks like the end of the dollar-store orange peelers..they have like a croche hook at one end and then the other is flat just like the side of the orange stick for the glue.

  • i love love your videos,,,just one comment...u keep sayint u have large eyes..u don't..your eyes are just like mine, they are shaped beautifully but not large(personally i think it's the shape and not the size that makes eyes beutiful)..u must have some asian blood in you cause u have smaller almond eyes just like me..just thought i let u know what we from the outside see when we look at u

  • thank you ! i will try....

  • lol, i've never got it right! not even once!

so maybe i'll try it later on this sat. night....i'm going out! hahahahaha

  • i WANT TO TRY iT!

  • I'm gonna try it this way as well. It never works for me the "traditional" way.

Wish I could pop you in my handbag and keep you as my mini make up artist! lol

  • i think this way will be alot easier than applying the glue straight to the false lashes. im gonna try this! i think you are a genius!

  • omg thankss, you helped me soooooo much! i actually really like the way you apply them ... and ill be trying it sometime in the near future! =]

  • hi ...nice vid ! but i heard that its not good to apply the glue directly on your eyelid :S !

    c ya ;)

  • i think this is better way to apply false lashes, and they call orange stick because at the begining of the little one sticks, they were made from wood of orange tree, here in oaxaca we have some combs for hair from that kind of material, wood, they are simply fantastic... not damage to your hair... nice video... thanks a lot for the help...

  • I heard that pulling the skin near your eyes to the side like that damages nerves around your eyes? I stopped doing this when I apply my mascara.

  • Such a great help! I have been doing the traditional method of applying false lashes and I think this method is much better! Thank you!

  • thanks alot for this great video,,, it was so fun and helpfull,,, YOU R NATURALY CUTEE..

    thanx againn

  • i agree with the person below me! :D

  • thanks for the tutorial, very helpful! i never did use a fake eye lashes, but this video inspired me to try it:-). nice songs, are u from hawaii?

  • THANK YOU! I have been trying and trying to get my lashes on myself and I would always get glue all over the place Your way works for me! No more paying $10-$12 to apply strips. I can do it myself. Thank you for posting this video! I think they are called orange sticks because they are normally made of wood. I've been looking for a plastic one like yours... no luck yet.

  • I'd never thought of doing it that way before but it makes a lot of sense! I'm so gonna try this, thanks :)

  • i love the songs you used =)

  • I have the probelm that my eyelashes are loong and really curved.. and they seem to try and kill the falsh eyelashes by pushing them off the ledge XD

    help ?!

  • You're not weird - I've been applying my false lashes using the same method for years. It prevents the glue on the lashes from sticking to your eyelids or natural lashes - as it might if you're using the "conventional" method by adding glue to the false ones. Also, the glue dries faster on warm skin than on (cold) fake lashes.

    Great video!

  • your way worked like a charm!!! woohooo

  • I just put on some falsies with the glue on the lash. It isn't as close to the lash line as I want it. After watching this I am going to take them off and do your methd.
