I'm not familiar with this particular performance. Does anyone know if it was held in Japan. I recognize the Japanese language in their "dialogue" while he's waiting. Just curious. Again, this one performance (with all the dancers) eludes me as to the location of the show. Anyone?

i don't know about that...ever heard of KARINA SMIRNOFF...karina's a legend in ballroom...while i take nothing from yulia, who's breathtaking and stunning, in her own right, karina just epitomizes ballroom...currently she's retired, but is now on DWTS...but during her reign with slavik, they were amazing...as yulia was with max and now with riccardo...karina dominance was from 2000-2005, and yulia is dominating...two different eras, plus ballroom dancing keep uping their technical game

Slavik is a god... compared to Max, Slavik is way way much better. i agree that Yulia and Karina both have different styles in dancing. They're both amazing.

Max is not even remotely close to Slavik. Never in a million years. Yulia, on the other hand, is very special and is probably one of the most physically talented female pros today.
