This is a pretty good video because it is at the right angle where you can actually see what is being done with both hands... and the slap part in the beginning is done very very slowly... The breathing? Doesn't bother me.. I'm listening to the music & watching the fingers...

i don't believe so, but he does do something kinda similar. it's the same up/down motion as he (in the video) is doing with his thumb, but geddy does it with his index or middle finger, so you can go twice as fast but with half the effort (if that makes any sense lol)
