This is one of disney's best films. And it had some of disney's best songs. This was when Disney was cool. The stuff they show now can't hold a candle to the past. TV shows and movies that disney made from the 60's, 70's and 80's are so cool.

My all time favorite Disney movie. My favorite line in this song is, "So let's all make sure we give everyone somewhere to stand - just the way God planned it, just the way God planned." [I love how Helen Reddy hits the notes on "planned it"]. It's ultra rare for a Disney production to acknowledge God.

I could have done without the silly dance interruption at the middle of the song, though. Even when I was a kid I thought it distracted from the song and looked embarrassing.

I love 1:31-1:36. Nora and all the other kids are staring out into space, pretending they can see Elliot, but Pete actually can so he knows where to look. I also like 3:46. I almost prefer Elliot's ambiguous moments to the animation.

I have to say as great as Nora is it always made me mad that she pretends to believe in Elliot when she doesn't really. She's thinks she's only humoring Pete. Ah well. I love this song (my favorite part when I was a kid) and I still envy that playground.
