i really love the v12 vantage but to be honest the problem there is with the v12 vantage is dat the top speed is 190 mph, seriously the DB9 does 190 mph when it has 40 less hp, it weighs 176 lbs more than the vantage, and its .5 seconds slower 0-60 time, top speed of every aston martin car is always 190 mph or less, well at least the DBS does 191 mph and to be honest i'd take the DBS over any other aston martin car even the v12 vantage cause in a drag race from 0- top speed the DBS would win

maybe for the money you can get a faster supercar but this aston is really fast through the corners.But aston martin are always comfortable and when your cruising allong not very lood.

@carsmything302 I'm guessing it's an aerodynamics thing. I'm hardly an expert, but I think I'm not far off when I say that a longer car has more top speed potential. Between the DBS and the Vantage, The DBS is the longer car.

Astons have always been road cars rather than track cars. They never needed to be face-meltingly quick. That being said, they certainly aren't slow and 517 hp is undeniably a lot of power.

This is the fastest car that Aston Martin can produce without getting ugly. The One-77 is just hideous. I say why get a DBS, why get a One-77, when you can have the V12 Vantage? It's the best car in the world.

Forgive me for smoking, but doesnt the Ferrari F430 seem like a good rival for this car then..... Cost and performance wise two very similar cars (tranny seems different though), although the F430 is still much lighter and much more track oriented..... The old Gallardo would be right on the spot, but they have improved to 560 bhp recently.......
