I really love this song, and its so beautiful how you can feel his affection and desire for this person in the beginning, then through the chorus his yearning for her, then at the end his begging her to forgive him and take him back. He is such a wonderful singer and performer. Such a great great song!

personally, i think his voice sounds brilliant in this songggg, it has so much raw passion, when you watch him you believe every word he sings, such passion and depth.

But i'm a bit of a drama fanatic so it's all about the emotion for me, not so much vocals.

Who cares if they're both off pitch just a bit - still a great song. They're not known for being Celine Dion, but for writing passionate and awesome songs, which this is.

The reason why it sounds so bad during some parts is because the backup singer is singing the correct accompanying pitch, it's the lead singer that isn't hitting the notes! Listen @ 1:35, and from 3:01 to the end he doesn't hit a note! The backup singer sings the same harmonics as the record but the lead can't hit'em so he brings it down an octave and battles through the song. The end is awful! don't mess with the backup, he's doing his job.

It seems not, I think so, too... Snow Patrol is one of my most favourite bands(I LOVE their music but the live shows I've seen here, at youtube... Sorry to say , are disappointing, really bad... Gary Lightbody's voice is different compared to the cds and he looks a little bit of drunk or something to me...

(I know many will disagree, but that's what's my opinion..)
