yo you play on xbox i will add you and wax you with setsuka and astaroth those player you were facing fell for everything but rest assured i will put up a very good match. CRwlST-GT send request. BTW Beastie ass mitsu skillz man you will truly be a legendary fight.
yeah knight spirit i remember yu, respect for your mitsu style yu have a very good mind game and various technics !!! your space stance are sooo amazing :)
I dont think this is flashy i think if you wanna be very good with mitsurugi you have to utilize the moves in his stances with accuracy. With that being said your mitsurugi is awsome:) Alot of nice set ups.
I saw a lot of vids from you, love your Mitsu. Just wonder why you don't use 33B more as a combo finisher (at the end of relic B, relic A, 3B -> 236[B], B6 at long range). I usually see you using the 1A which does less damage. Is that because 33B isn't guaranteed after some of those attacks ?
Anyway, some great stuff in this video, especially the spacing you use for the phoenix tail which leads to probably Mitsu's most efficient combo : pretty rare to see it used so accurately.
Thank you for watching my video ^^, and to answer your question:
After relic B, relic A, 3B ->236 [B]. 33B can be tech roll to the right... therefore is not a guarantee combo. 1A on the other hand cannot be tech in any directions.
Only B6 at long range, 33B cannot be tech because of the stun. But I rarely do B6 at that range on purpose, so I will usually hesitate a little bit if it hit at that range.. because 33B is very unsafe on block, I usually do 1A which is much safer option.
If you are not near the edge where you can do 44B -> 6B,B as ender, then is better to do 33B instead. Because it does a little bit more damage, plus it have a much better wake-up game. If you just do 44B -> 6B, your opponent will be too far for you to do anything except going into relic dash pressuring.
Oh yeah that's what I guessed then. I was pretty sure about the B6 at range (and I know exactly why you hesitate a little bit :D), but not the rest. How hard is it to be teched correctly though ? It seems to me that it still reaches most of the time, but then again, I don't face fierce competition such as the guys names Chang FD and Lau (the two guys that impressed me the most besides you)...
Tech rolling is actually very easy, you just have to developing the habit of doing it, and know which direction you should tech against specific move. However, you also need to be aware that there are moves that specifically catches tech rollers, so if you develop a bad habit of tech rolling all the time, is also not a good thing.
Alright, I'll do the 33B until they tech it, then I'll do A+K (I guess it catches the right as well) :)
Anyway, thanks for the responses. I hope you'll have to come (by some kind of miracle) in France someday so I can see if my Mitsu stands any chances against yours.
Haha, why do you think he is cheap? Is not like he can win games with just 4-5 moves... he is just the kind of character that are easy to learn but difficult to master, you really gotta utilize all his moves to master him.
lol, this is a really late response, but anyway: I was joking (Those typos were meant supposed to make that clear, but I obviously failed). Despite what scrubs say, Mitsu takes a lot of thought and skill at a high level of play, imho. Also, I've come to the conclusion that 9A+B is pro, since it works far better against Algol that it has any right to.
I use a standard hori to play at home, but these matches are recording at Chang's friend place with his stick. Is one of those huge tekken stick (I don't know what it call) Why you ask?
Add my gamertag requiem okami...hehehe I'll end you with my Misturugi. You should be the least bit challenging. Dont be afraid.

On 3A CH, is it better to do that 33B or the 44[B] into a 6B?

I'd like to play your "ultimate skill mitsu" online.. are you on PSN?
PSN: Pendragonsfall
Also, after your 66 A+B, I don't think 33_99 B is guaranteed, is it?
blackthorne 3 years ago
Oh yeah, what type of attacks does A+K auto GI? I use mitsu, but mine's really scrubby.. haha.
blackthorne 3 years ago
After 66A+B,33B is garanteed, if you do it fast enough, it is untechable.
A+K GI all high/mid horizontal except kicks.
And sorry, I don't play online because of the lag... can't even block a simple 1A online because of the damn delay.

LoL you would get aced...

Well offline I would .. I'd need about an hour to warm up..

Very nice job. I loved the perfect finishers section.
I also enjoyed the BGM, but I don't think too many people will like it.
