@NSAdisinformation No the don't run your consperincy theory.Ever seen what is happening around you.Your theory is maybe true but change the word Jew to Muslim and you are a lot closer to what you believe in.And you say non-consperincy-believers are blind. Muslims say and act as a group to take over the world domination. They hate Jews, why would they immegrate to help the Jews to prevail? Muslims want a facist world order under the Islam. They say and they act like that. You felt into their trap.
I don't know why people are making claims of antisemitism. The video is just recounting the facts of history. Christianity was not meant to be antisemitic- though, of course, Jesus predicted, and lamented the fact that they would reject him as the messiah. I implore any jewish person to read the book of romans, and notice the fact Paul pleaded for the jews, warned against gentile christians ever becoming arrogant toward them, and predicted their eventual restoration.
And notice the fact that nowhere in the new testament is there ever any command to attack, kill, forcefully convert, or mistreat jewish people. Instead, there is the command to be at peace with all men. Whereas the Koran clearly has commands for hostility, subjugation, and murder of Jews (and christians). The catholic church, in direct variance, and disobedience of the new testament, commanded terrible things be done to them- but I suppose the catholics need to answer for that, don't they?
Christians should not be anti-Semites. The Romans were not good, they were tools of God. Most Christians do not believe the Jews are evil. Everyone knows the Jews did not destroy their temple in AD-70. Christians believe Jesus-of-Nazareth was the promised Messiah. We believe we are blessed by Abraham for his faithfulness; not for anything we deserve.
Josephus gave the best testimony of the Jew and Jerusalem. In the hate filled battle for control of a loosing war factions immediately developed and enough corn for a year or more was burned by their own hands. Simon & John raised inner conflicts, fighting into the temple the zealots blood defiled the temple floor, "I cannot help but think...God had doomed this city to destruction as a polluted city...to purge the sanctuary by fire.." "The zealots fell upon the flock as profane animals"
dear hyperpreterists AND partial-preterists -- this video is NOT in support of your views but rather to show that historic Christianity has ALWAYS understood the significance of the ad70 destruction of the Temple, YET didn't need to go "hyper" with it.
yes, in the main historic Christianity has always understood that AD70 events had significance, YET did not go hyper. It wasn't until the 1800s when dispensationalism grew up that Christians began to forget about the triumphant nature of Christianity. We don't need to go hyper to recover triumphantism in Christianity.
Why did you say this view is NOT in support of preterism? I am a preterist (not a hyper-preterist - I believe in the Second Coming and the Bodily Resurrection etc.)
An understanding of the significance of Nero's persecution (64 to 67 AD) as well as the siege of Jerusalem (67 to 70 AD) and the destruction of the Temple help us understand Daniel, Matthew 24 and Revelation. It also explains the book of Hebrews.
Because, historically "preterism" of ANY TYPE was NEVER a school of theology. What I hope to present is merely PRE-dispensationalism Christianity. You can look all through Christian history & see theologians advocating the thing some are now calling "partial or orthodox preterism". It is misleading to give this historic Christian perspective a new name, since it has ALWAYS been the position of Christianity from early on.
The problem is with your argument is that the terms: premillennialism, amillennialism, postmillennialism, futurism, idealism, historicism (and so on) are JUST AS NEW!
Prior to the Reformation there was the "COMMON CHURCH DOCTRINE" which had no name, but was various forms of amillennialism and postmillennialism (including preterism) and CHILIASM, which we now call premillennialism.
Should we use no theological terms that are under 500 years old?

We are our own God and our mind is the only universe we truly control. Our actions lead us to the realities we would wish to create as rulers of our universe/mind. If you allow someone to control your mind you forfeit everything you would have ever become. Making your body just an instrument easily disposed of.

Christianity is a hoax. Christianity is Roman war propaganda against the Jews and nonwhites. New testament was written by Romans to demean and destroy Judaism. Titus Flavius who destroyed the Jewsih Temple commissioned the Christian hoax as a replacement for Judaism. Titus' Flavius military campaign against Jerusalem was transformed into Jesus' ministry against Judaism
The "New Covenant Age" will also come to an end - when His enemies are under His feet. The last enemy will be death itself. At the Last Day all the graves will be opened and both the wicked and the righteous will be Judged.
If you believe your physical body will never die; that there is no longer sin or death in the world; YOU ARE DECIEVED.
"But if there be no resurrection of the DEAD, then is Christ not risen: 14 And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain"
"And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus; Who concerning the truth have ERRED, saying that the RESURRECTION is PAST already;..."
It is not replacement theology to say that the true sons of Abraham were ALWAYS those by faith & the the promises were to THE SEED (Christ Jesus) -- Gal 3:7 & Gal 3:16

We first see the term "preterism" in the 1700s.
The problem is with your argument is that the terms: premillennialism, amillennialism, postmillennialism, futurism, idealism, historicism (and so on) are JUST AS NEW!

So you think preterism is correct, but just don't like the label because it is "new"?
jcr4runner 3 years ago
Preterism also refutes Higher Critics who say the Gospels were written AFTER 70 AD.
The Higher Critics cannot abide the existence of fulfilled prophecy. They say the Gospels prophesy AFTER the fact.
Yet Jesus is merely interpreting Daniel in the Mount Olivet Discourse.
It makes no sense that a Jew would write a history about fulfilled messianic prophecy (the Gospels) and not mention the Temple had been destroyed.
However, Barnabas, Josephus, and other writers do mention the events of 70 AD.
