Since Budge was written in the early 1900's we have more knowledge about the glyphs. Maybe you should get these 3 books. Middle Egyptian by James P. Allen; A Concise dictinoary of Middle Egyptian by Raymond Faulkner; and Egyptian Grammer by Gardiner. Allen is considered the new standard and is used by egptologists in hieroglyph classes at the university level. Gardiner is the first book that got it right and is considered the ultimate source for what is correct. Allen followed Gardiner's rules
