Those are Serbian Special Forces ex-JSO unit and now it is PTJ, the founder of the unit was famous Milorad Ulemek Legija former Foreign Legionaire, unit was equiped not only with FAMAS but also other French military equipment, and they have even now very close cooperation with French RAID unit.

It over extends the air resource & uses up spares, NATO wealthy but campaign like this has limit. Raw power telling in end but very , very expensive.

Those are Serbian Special Forces ex-JSO unit and now it is PTJ, the founder of the unit was famous Milorad Ulemek Legija former Foreign Legionaire, unit was equiped not only with FAMAS but also other French military equipment, and they have even now very close cooperation with French RAID unit.

Satellites couldn't locate Serb forces in Kosovo as small groups moving unpredictably in difficult terrain. Serbs witheld forces, NATO used a lot of stocks & wear time on planes looking, this is virtual attrition. It over extends the air resource & uses up spares, NATO wealthy but campaign like this has limit. Raw power telling in end but very , very expensive.

The threat of Yugoslav 1960's surface to air missiles meant NATO didn't fly below 15000ft, seriously hampering target sighting, so repeatedly bombed decoys. One of these vintage SAMs took down US Stealth bomber. In frustration NATO turned attacks onto Belgrade and cities.
