laser vision surgery ruined my eyes at 31 years of age. I lost my career and house. Don't take the risk for vanity. A surgeon will never be truthful about the real risks of the surgery. They are protected by the wavier you sign. PLEASE don't make my mistake. I suffer every single day.
I had perfect vision till 40, then I needed reading glasses, then I couldn't see distance very well, so I got a bifocal prescription, worked great except for the glasses, I thought, then I had a chance to get lasik, BIG Mistake!!! need reading worse than ever, but the dry eyes!! Feels like I have sand spurs under my eyelids every day, all day, eyes glued shut every morning, don't even think about opening them till you put in some drops. what a pain in the ass. Never again!!!
Dr. Keon Nia performed lasik on me and as a result of the surgery I now have major night vision problems and dry eyes that hurt all the time. LASIK sucks! it is permanent. You can’t return it like a bad pair of glasses.
@tokimasa121 Glasses are very problematic mostly if you play sports or go to school, as an example I can lose my glasses or break them that's one factor. Another is having to always buy new pairs of glasses every one or two years since augmentation of your glasses wore out, and your vision gets crappier if you don't know. That's like $300 every year I have to spend on Procedures and glasses purchases.I would rather get a Laser Treatment that would last a lifetime without the discomfort of Specs.
Be concerned about your safety and avoid the complications by being prepared. check out safelasikguide [dot] com and read the whole site before you make a decision.
@mcnabj i hardly believe that medical professionals could 'claim' anything without the proof to back it up or the success rate to make it a viable procedure for thousands.

I'm quite happy with my surgery dating from 2 weeks ago.
The only problem: starburst and glowing around light sources, the darker the light colour (e.g. green) the more starburst. This is my problem !
Does some-one of my patient-fellows have a solution?
Sincerely yours

@lancerwagon I have this same problem with those blue LED lights and I never had a Lasik procedure.

None of exsisting surgeries are completely risk-free. Be it eye, heart, brain or other type of surgeries.

DON'T GET LASIK. THESE DOCTORS ARE PERMANTLY INJURING PEOPLE SO THEY CAN SUPPORT THEIR PRIVILEGED LIFESTYLES.

Youtube: lasik fda
Google: lasik fda
Then you will understand that about an estimated 1,000,000 Americans and their families have been destroyed from LASIK.
