  • FU** the camera quality, Lets Just Race!

  • Cool. I have a turbo RSX-S

  • The only problem with Honda cars is that they are restricted by the japanese law. otherwise they would be way better.

  • the original dc2 type R is one of the greatest factory tuned cars in the world, one of the best handling fwd cars in the world. This video shows it still being a great competitor for newer cars. Honda, truly inspiring car company, I don't care what other people say, it raced in F1 and aryton was their driver

  • lol at all you guys im sure he used RSX type-r to diffrentiate the two cars why would you say teg type-r vs teg type-r what? and yes there is a DC5R

  • .youtube.com/watch?v=k7GDQ_kxnoY Americans need to stop calling their RSX a Type-R. Avura used to make type R's back when the produced their integra DC2 type r but they dropped that name and produced their own RSX. Acura has no Civic R either they have Si versions nor is their NSX called a Type R.

  • an RSX is not a type-R its just an RSX.

  • @damnUTECH RSX type R its not a myth my friend.

  • @BlueySkunky its nt a type-R The USdm have type S nt type Rs. The 2 cars even look different up close.

  • @damnUTECH Actually the JDM DC5 Integra Type-R have slightly more powerful engine (17 more HP) and lighter curb weight than Acura RSX Type-S.

  • @jbrian80 I know that. Never said otherwise. They are obviously different.

  • WOOOO LOOK AT THE END ! XD

  • lol look at 1:48

  • RSX type R, what is the world coming to?

  • @apexdna It would be considered a Honda Integra Type-R in japan .

  • @BanditAuron

'cuz it IS a Honda Integra Type R, you dumbfuck... now while RSX Type S may have alot of Type R's components, it is still an Integra Type S, NOT Type R...

  • @apexdna dude.. learn your shit before you say something stupid like that... it's been around since RSX's were sold.... bet you didn't know their was a honda civic type RR? lol...

  • Respond to this video...

  • @jubajuba101

I'm amazed at the number of opinionated fucktards roaming "teh interwebs". The "Type RR" model was built and sold by Mugen, NOT Honda, hence the name - Mugen Civic Type RR... get your act together.

  • @apexdna RSX type R, what is the world coming to?..... I WASN'T STATING HONDA CARS YOU STUPID FUCK LOL i was saying i pressume you didn't know there was a civic type RR CAUSE YOU DONT KNOW THEIR WAS A RSX TYPE R LOL go back to fucking english class and analyze my sentences before you answer.

  • @jubajuba101

There is NO such thing as an RSX Type R, you monolingual culture-less white trash.

  • @apexdna ooh i'm sorry it's technically called the Honda integra Type-R you retard. didn't want folks here to be confused cause both are type R's not to mention integra's, and if you had any logic saying RSX is much more convenient then saying honda integra Type-R

  • @jubajuba101

Let me break it down for you, you illogical assfuck.

    Integra (DC5) = RSX

    Integra (DC5) Type S = RSX Type S

Integra (DC5) Type R = There's NO such thing, Acura never sold the Type R version of the Integra under the RSX model name.

  • @apexdna lol so what if you bring a integra DC5 type R over here? would it be considered a integra Type R or RSX Type R? which one is more logical? same shit. G35's are called nissan skylines over in japan you gonna tell me japan never made g35s? lol dude take that dildo out your ass and stop being bent on names. It's the motor that counts

  • @jubajuba101

Integra, of course. Look at the origin of said car, you diskweed.

Skyline (V35) 250 = The Infiniti version of the car never came with a 2.5l engine.

    Skyline (V35) 350 = Infiniti G35, similar engine & equipment.

Skyline (V35) 350 GT-8 = Again, the Infiniti version of the car never came with an 8-speed CVT.

And don't get me started on motors...

  • @apexdna you have no logic. i'm pretty sure if you bring a integra type R over here the owner would say RSX Type R as so many video's on youtube use the word Acura RSX Type-R. The name RSX was to replace Integra for acuras new line up Integra Type-R = Acura Type-R. do you call Acura TSXs honda accord euro-Rs? lol . BTW you live in the US use the name your country was given not the JDM.

  • @jubajuba101

That would be one dumb owner not worthy of said car. No respect towards the origin of the car. Who cares how it was re-badged. Type R is a separate model altogether. There's no equivalent in the US. And again, cars like the Euro-R Accord are considered separate models, and were never offered outside of Japan. You can call the TSX an Accord all you want, because it IS an Accord after all, and a real one at that.

  • @apexdna LOL easy to say that when you don't have one. the rebadging does matter because if you haven't noticed it's for the TSX RL TL lineup. Type R is just a trim in the RSX line up. RSX-S have been known to been changed to Type R so there is an equivalent. Euro-R are were offered in Uk so i don't know what you were trying to say.... So TSX is an Accord Euro R? one makes around 200 and the other 220hp and their considered the same?

  • @jubajuba101

That's like saying the Skyline GT-R is a trim level, when you know how big of a difference there is between the regular Skylines and the GT-R model. We're talking about a heavy-ass RWD coupe (or sedan) vs. an AWD beast. You can do swaps all day long, but that still doesn't change the fact that's it's not the real deal. And also, you're mistaking the '98-03 UKDM Type R for a Euro R... still doesn't change the fact that there was no '04-07 Accord Euro R equivalent outside of Japan.

  • @apexdna first off, it's called Nissan GT-R, it's a successor, not a trim level from the original skylines so thats obsolete. also, i find that arguing with you is pointless because obviously you do your research on the computer before you respond while i argue with you using previous knowledge, easy to sound smart on youtube when you have hours to respond. In the end unless you have an RSX of any trim level well... just keep admiring bud lol

  • @jubajuba101

I'm not talking about the R35, where Skyline name was dropped. I was referring to the BNR32/BCNR33/BNR34 models. And I don't live in your mom's basement, I have a life outside of YouTube. Type R models were homologation specials, not your ordinary consumer cars.

  • @apexdna k cool story bro lol keep researching kid. out.

  • @jubajuba101

    Yeah, fuck off.

  • @apexdna It's a circular argument. RSX in America, Integra in Japan but same car. It's not like I can't call my RSX an Integra, because it IS an Integra. You can also call a Japanese Integra an RSX as well, but the differing factor is the Type S/Type R since they are slightly different. What I am saying is that you can call it an RSX type R and it means the same thing as Integra type R and the only thing setting them apart is the Type S/Type R.

  • @sushlet

That's the whole point. It does NOT make a circle, since the Type R version was never sold in US. There isn't an equivalent. But Type S was sold in both countries, Before you know it, people will start calling their white 4-door Si's "Type R's"... even the FUCKING paint job is DIFFERENT. All Type R's came in championship white. Now, as far as I know, both Type S' - RSX, and Integra - came in the SAME blaze orange metallic.

  • @apexdna I think you've missed my point entirely. Are Type S and Type R trim levels? Yes. Is the RSX and the Integra (not counting the trim levels) the same car? Yes, they are. Therefore, RSX with a Type R trim level means the Integra Type R in Japan. If you used a little logic you would have come to the same conclusion. Type S and Type R are just trim levels, RSX and Integra are the same exact car.

  • @sushlet

Type S, yes. Type R, no. If you ever went on Honda of Japan's website, there was always a separate page for the Type R model. Honda even produced a stripped version of a Type R for race teams. Again, neither did the customer or the private race version was ever sold in the Americas. And since the regular Integra/RSX and the Type R are so vastly different, the Type R version is considered, for the most part, as a distinct model altogether.

  • @apexdna It is pretty pointless to argue with you if you insist the Type R trim is another car altogether. I only see it as a trim level: Base->Type S->Type R.

  • @sushlet

It is. The argument is valid for regular trim levels only. It's like calling your '93 Mitsubishi Mirage a Lancer Evolution... two entirely different cars, who cares if the chassis and body panels are similar.

  • @apexdna Where did you pull Mirage and Lancer EVO out of? Does not even add anything to the argument as they are not even the same model... However, the EVO is the trim level of the Lancer. It is still a fucking Lancer, just with upgrades. Just like the Impreza WRX STi is a trim level of the Impreza WRX. Just because it has its own web page doesn't mean its a different car... And when you mention similar body panels/chassis, they are the same exact chassis as with most body panels.

  • @sushlet Ok, than why not call the Lancer Evo a "Mirage Evo"? See how stupid it sounds. Especially when said model wasn't offered here. Why not call all Integras, say... Civics. Isn't that what their based on? Most suspension, braking, and powertrain components just bolt up with minimal fabrication. How about we start adding CR-Vs to the mix? Well now, it's get really hairy. According to YOU an '01 Impreza 2.5RS is an STi - it doesn't even have a turbo for crying out loud to be a true WRX.

  • @apexdna Are you serious? I'm beginning to think you misunderstand the idea of a trim level completely. Just because it is based on something doesn't mean its a trim level... An Integra is not an higher trim level of a Civic, and I was never saying that. I was saying Integra has several trim levels that include base, type s, and type r. Where the hell did you get the idea of other cars being trim models from? A Camry isn't a higher trim of a Corolla dumbass.

  • @sushlet Answer me this, if the Type R is just a "trim level". How come it's made in limited numbers? I believe less than a few thousand a year. This is not some marketing scheme where you take, say an Accord LX outfit it with some of the EX' standard features and call it a Special Edition for a year. This is a car built on a separate conveyor, in LIMITED numbers during it's model cycle, in this case, a total of 5 years. Oh, and a Camry is not even based on a Corolla, you idiot.

  • @apexdna Are you serious or just trolling? Every car is made with limited numbers. They don't make an 2 billion Camry's hoping everyone will buy them, and even if they do it is within the limits of 2 billion. What I am saying is that way of thinking is inaccurate, they make less because they sell less. And just because they make less of it, it's suddenly not a higher trim? I don't see the connection. And no shit a Camry isn't a Corolla isn't I said it because I was basing it on your dumb logic.

  • @sushlet

How limited? 2K or 300K? Huge difference. Cars in "Top 10" are sold between 200 and 400 thousand a year. Cars like Type Rs are basically homologation specials that are made per race regulations, in LIMITED numbers. It's not even about the sales, and according to some sources Honda may have lost profit on every Type R ever sold. And I NEVER said it was a "higher trim". "Check yo self before you break yo self".

  • @apexdna I know you didn't say it's a higher trim. That is where your logic fails, because it IS a higher trim. So to solve this it is very simple. If you don't think it's a trim level then your logic is fine. But I cannot accept it as a different model, to me it's just a higher trim.

  • @sushlet

The cars specifically made for the US market and cars made for the rest of the world. Why do you think JDM is so popular? Something to think about...

  • whatever all yall faggots are just hating on hondas. hondas are the most underated cars made, especially the civic and integras. they are cars made for the circuit, who cares about power... real men ATTACK turns, the straights are for fags who cant drive. ANYONE can shift gears and hit 160 mph..

  • @siRGvtec true story, i prefer RWD but i have a great respect for HONDA. and i try and tune my car for the best BALANCE while my peers are only concerned with how fast u can go in a straight. which takes little to NO technique or racing knowledge. to each there own i guess

  • let me name many other fwd cars as great as the integra/civic: mitsubushi eclipse gt corrado vr6/g60, mitsubishi fto ,ford focus st, honda prelude, alfa romeo gtv 3.0 toyota celica, to name just a handful

  • DC2s are definitely respectable but the DC5 type-r is absolutely amazing and they have the limited slip differential, that's pretty awesome

  • All these cars are integras

Its just in America they should the DC5 made it softer and slower and called it the RSX and RSX type S.

  • well, everybody now knows what is inside your brain~

  • Comment removed

  • rsx? fucking noob there is no a such thing as "rsx" in japan, is called INTEGRA, and the rsx will never be "type R" just "type S", type S = Sucks, type R= rocks

  • lol inbred that shit taste good

  • guys a 2001 is not a DC2 its a DC4...look at the vechicle identification number at the bottom side of the windshield...the number should start with a J and should have the numbers DC4 in it for a 2001 integra.

  • theres no dc4 its only dc2 n dc5 right?

  • Comment removed

  • Comment removed

  • Comment removed

  • no a dc4 is not a integra 2001 body, it is a base integra for 1995-2001. a dc2 is a type R or a gsr integra

  • i wish these cars were still made.

  • they are all real. the first one is the NSX type R

  • this will always be a debated race... DC2's have better chassis and DC5 have better motor

  • can anyone tell me what kind of pipping is that?

  • DC2's are the business!

  • both the DC2 won at the end..

  • DC5!!!~~~

  • Where is the rest of this race!!!?

  • i still love the 2001 teggies

  • 2001 teg is the dc5....

  • no the 2002 is the dc5, 2001 was the last dc2s

  • Trust me i know alot about these cars... 2001 was the last of the oldshape and the begining of the dc5 ur kinda right but then u should say Pre 2001. cuz 2001 was the start of the DC5. wiki it honda it google it :)

  • are you high? or just really dumb, a dc5 is a 2002 + Honda integra/ acura RSX, a 2001 teg is a dc2 teg. i own a 01 gsr and im prety sure its not a rsx

  • Comment removed

  • lol why dont you read wiki again and check thrid gen integra years and fourth gen years and check the model codes too. you kno you're wrong and everyone here clearly knows the difference between dc2 and dc5. its like looking at 2 different colors. its just that easy but i guess not to silly geese like you.

  • uh no it's not. it's the dc2

  • waaaaaaaaaaaa hahaha i love silly asians

  • Guys in not an RSX its a Honda Integra Type-r!

  • thre all Rsx/integras...

  • Theres no RSX there.

  • the rsx is acura but the JDM ver of it is honda integra. DC5!!!~~ ;P

  • Both are RSX/Integras....

rsx is just the american name for the integra.

  • lol. formed just changed. lol.

isnt the 01 rsx the integ. and then after that its known as the rsx. lol

AT the end of the video both the Integras smoke the RSX's

  • WOW, DC5 got taken on the outside.

  • for all those who are wondering who won. the 2 DC2s passed the RSXs at the end.

  • It's sad that they don't make the RSX/integra anymore or atleast for north-america and the typeR is pretty much only Japanese now, silly civic is so good it poofed a name badge.

  • both of those cars fast, and fun to drive, you can smoke mustanges.

  • ANYBODY CAN SMOKE A MUSTANG

    HAHAHA

  • shoot. i lost to a 02 Mustang GT with my EG b16a swap..

  • a mustang is a sorry excuse for a sports car!

  • @salvitrucha dont mock a 5.0 mustang fastest street legal 1/4 mile ;)

  • @FiLtHySLoB bahahahaha thats the funniest shiet i've ever heard

  • @salvitrucha haha mustangz suck the shouldnt exsist only reason why dumbfuckz buy it is b/c they mistake it by a cobra

  • @HaterkillaJuan Im going on a limb here to say one.. your a fan of "The fast and Furious" secondly... probably not even 24 yet.... dude.. stock for stock.. a Mustang will smoke a freaking Rsx or Integra R. Now .. put about 10K in each car.. and ooops again.. the Mustang will smoke a Integra or Rsx. In RACING today.. they are even in different classes... ST (Street Tuner) GS (Grand Sport) huge difference in weight, horsepower etc.

  • @JuergenGDB I have nothing against the Asian market cars vs US cars.... or european for that matter... but when I browse and see complete dumb asses talking smack about a 5.0... I say to myself.. well either he really has no clue, or he has not gone up against someone that knows their shit. Dude.... a 5.0ltr done correctly will destroy a import, unless you make your import a complete drag car with slicks etc.. you dont really stand a chance.

  • @JuergenGDB ahahahaha u crealy havent seen a real life race between dem child nefore u see a race talk bumb fuck,, U FORD PEICE OF SHIT

  • @HaterkillaJuan Ok one... I dont thing you can spell... but besides that I dont even own a ford.. I have a Porsche CS 997 and a 2009 Audi A4 2.0 with tons of mods. What you fail to grasp is that no stock 4 banger.. is going to compete with a V8. I ehpasize STOCK... of course you can upgrade with your spoon engine or turbos and whip V8's... but 4 cylinder engines to begin with are at the bottom of the food chain. You have to do alot of modifying.. that puts stress and heat on your engine..

  • @JuergenGDB furthermore.. I have never in my life seen a ST car beat out a bigger GS car in racing.. maybe for you on the drag strip.. but for me thats not racing.. maybe for you it is.. LOL I have laugh at you... keep your 4banger... I dont care.

  • @JuergenGDB YEA AND UR PIECE OF SHIT AUDI AND PORCHE WHICH U DNT OWN NEED "MODS" HUH TOO SLOW FOR YA BABY GURL TRY GETTING ON A VETTE

  • @HaterkillaJuan dude you really are retarded. Obviously you have sufffered severe trauma... I dont need mods, I enjoy cars as much as the next enthusiast, Im not a fanboy retard like you.. You can say Audi sucks, whatever obviously you are no fan of racing...your just young, naive and very imature. Otherwise you would clearly understand how superior Audi and Porsche's are to any JAP car... lol

  • @JuergenGDB HAHAHAHAHA DUMBASZ WHO IS COMPARING THE CARS U DNT GOT TO JPS CARS I TALKN BOUT CHEVYZ DAT WILL SMOKE UR ASS EVERY ONE KNWZ ZR1 IS THE BEST SHIT RIGHT NOW

  • @HaterkillaJuan I have no idea what your saying.. I think you must be talking ebonics.. When did I ever say corvettes suck?

  • @HaterkillaJuan u trollin

  • @JuergenGDB and you aren't a fan of racing either. Many tuned "jap" cars have dominated your tuned German brands on the tracks and of course vice versa. if you were a true racing fan then you should know all that matter is how well a car is tuned.. everything else is just for consumers. A real enthusiast see the potential of the car on what it can do and not what it is.

  • @HCNguyen86 and you call me ignorant... Out of the BOX.. meaning off the production line, most European Cars will own! Japanese cars. As far as racing heritage... europeans and the US probably out does any Japanese mark, or track in the world. And yes there was a reason behind the asian market for 280hp. The Japanese dominated the market, destroying detroit... however Ford and GM have shown you can make a big car with great gas mileage.

  • Comment removed

  • @JuergenGDB I also would like to mention the reason why German car are "superior" to Japanese car out of the factory is because of the regulation that Japan have set on auto industry throughout the 90s and has not been removed until recently this decade. The Max output was 280hp so the auto industry design to overall car(brakes, suspension, etc) to meet the 280hp limit unlike in

Europe(Germany) where the horsepower is unlimited.

but if you knew that, you wouldn't have made ignorant comments

  • on 2 wheels at the end thats nuts!! awesome video!

  • whooo! that was sick. the DC5 was airborn at the apex in the end. nice!

  • I miss my GSR now.. =(

  • Damn, I hear you glenuine.. my GSR finally took a shit on me (too much hard driving i guess) :(

  • yeh seriously who ends up winning looks like the integ type r was going to pass it up in the end... haha if u look closely the RSX is in the air at the end shits flyyingg!!

  • nice way to end the vid

  • Thanks for the upload.

  • The DC5 chassis is still an "Integra" you noob.
