I don't see the big deal. Plus when it comes to platter lifts, the steeper the better if you ask me. Since you can't sit down on a platter, the steeper the incline the more of your weight is on the platter and off your feet. I either like them steep, or practically flat where I can just hold it in front of me.
I was thinking that. Around near Le Corbier. It looks exactly like the one I rode around there. I think it's the same one. It was one steep poma though!. My crotch has only just recovered.
Ya the one @ Lake Louise ya have to lean right back almost flat. Its so steep but when ya get to the top its all well worth it. I lived in Lake Louise for 2 years has to be the best skiing in all of Canada. Epic snow the powder is just fantastic.
@euan56 I've rode the one at Lake Louise and its truely scarey sometimes. They need hay bales on the sides to keep the people that cant handle it from sliding down and taking everyone else out or themselves by slamming into the lift towers. Ive actually felt like my skis where coming off the ground too. More like it lifts you straight up in the air because thats how steep the mountain is up there. Its bananas...
