what i dont get is the bike should sound good WITHOUT having to turn your bass up. everything should be equalied for a true sound. if the bike puts out a lot of bass, its gonna have bass in the sound without having to turn it up.

So what was the extra mod? I've heard the new R1's with a/f pipes and they don't sound that deep or growly. That sounds more like a V-Twin than a I-4 with the new crossplane crank MotoGP style firing order.
