I recently bought a bottle of 2008 issay summer off ebay. and i think tis a tester. i know the bottle was in a package. but theres also chinese writing on the bottom of it. does that mean its a tester bottle? can anyone help me

It is way more lemony than I expected. It's quite nice and now I agree with you saying it is "zesty". It's like the original except instead maybe 65 percent floral and the rest citrus it's more like 65 percent citrus and another 35 percent floral.

I think it seems maybe just slightly less sharp overall even thought the citrus does give it a sharpness. Nice stuff.

Ive been into cologne for years, and have owned 100's if not thousands of bottles. If this cologne and Tommy summer doesnt make top 5 summer collections . I would think the reviewer isnt speaking the truth. This cologne is a panty dropper and tommy summer is the sure F--K. If i had to choose between um both.i couldnt.they both win

Hey Marc..... I know you said you do requests (lol... jk you don't have to do anything)  so if you are at a Macy's anytime soon smell the Issey Miyake PH Summer 2011... I smelled it there today and like it but don't know what it smells like compared to the 2009 edition which you gave a great review on. I read on a forum somebody said it smells almost exactly like the 2009 edition---- in which case I would probably buy it over getting an older 2009 bottle . Love to know your thoughts on it.

You were right about this fragrance, this is a jewel like no other for summer. At first I was spraying too much and getting disappointed but once I started doing just two sprays on the neck one on each side plus two on the chest it worked like magic, less is definately more with this one.

how close to it does it smell like the original issey? I read up that the 2010 smells just like it but instead of lemon its lime.. so how is 09?

You never know but I doubt it since it wasn't released long enough to be a huge hit. They tend to do fakes on huge sellers which are still readily available, like the original

Ok. This bottle is attractive, the smell is nice, and the name is exotic. Fine. BUT! I have a complaint: IT DOESNT STICK! This damn cologne fades as soon as you spray it on anything...skin or clothes! WTF!?

Does anyone know why?

Hey marc, u gotta buy a bottle of the 2010 edition. The patterns are kind of similar to le male ( white and blue stripes) and the bottle does not look like glass, it is painted with white which gives more of a plastic feel. Anyway there could be some details I missed because I just saw a quick glance of it.

I bought the original and I bought the 2008 edition and out of the two, I prefer the 2008 for sure. The original smells like perfume! It was a blind buy but that's what I get :( Its okay but I feel that the summer editions are much better!

@DLlJW1989 Versace Dreamer is by far the best!!...I know that wasn't mentioned on your list, but it truly is the best from Versace...However, you can only purchase it online as it has been discontinued...So you can find it online at sephora and other fragrance shops online...It is amazing!!...I love it!!

I smelt this today and it's an ok scent! Smells exactly like the origional, but more zesty and uplifting. It's a lot more wearable than the origional as well. When it drys down its very floral. I like it but i dont see myself wearing it too much
