I encourage everyone to share this information. The gov't has decided to put these people on SSI and drugs, instead of helping them help themselves back to a productive life. This is not a new treatment, but some psychiatrists have opposed it--presumably because it would reduce the need for their specialty. People with PTSD are often re-traumatized by talking about the events that led to their condition, so neurofeedback is often far superior to counseling.
As a veteran myself, I was touched to tears by this man's suffering. It seems miraculous that after being trained with Neurofeedback this man is now facing life with some hope and optimism again.
This video is a breakthrough in educating the public & our legislators as to the power of neurofeedback to help individuals "come back into their own"...to settle down their disquieted minds & upset nervous systems. Every vet, friend, & family member of a vet needs to be aware of this treatment & the national program to care for our returning injured military in this way. I hope this will be shared many times by each person who views this hopeful story. Grayce Stratton, PSY.D., Pleasanton, CA
