Doug Aldrich nuff said. They got screwed like Fifth Angel and Crimson Glory did. Way talented with killer songs that went un-noticed. Not by me, I blast em all the time and also watch the movie "The Wraith" which this killer song here is on the soundtrack. I think these cats were always in the shadow of White Lion because of the name, people are weird like that they hate bands that have a similar name as another band that were already famous at the time. Lion were WAY better than White Lion.
If everyone still loves this music (And I know Thousand who do) check out the Swedish Invasion of the Hair, Glam, sleeze bands that are taking over Europe and soon the Sates. Crashdiet, Sister Sinn, Blak Rain, etc..... you won't regret it!!
Yeah, Nirvana came in 91 and killed this music and in the process they screwed what you guys call Mainstream. Nowadays thanks to that gloomy, my-life-is-so-miserable crap, rock is nowhere to be found and that Hip Hop CRAP is all there is left. At least in the 80's we had Hair bands. Today we have nothing.
I took lessons from Doug Aldrich back in the 80's. He was an awesome guy, a great teacher and an incredible guitarist. I'm glad he's finally found the success his talent merited!!!
The band was awesome and the ability of Doug early on is evident here as a true master of his art. These guys should be very proud of there accomplishments. Onward melodic metal. Shit on these new bands they wish they had one tenth the talent has.
@ajay334 I worked on (bg vocals) this & the next Lion album (Trouble/Angel City.)
A week into the vocal work, we all came down with colds! All of my copies are packed, so this is the only place I can hear this. The label (Scotti Bros) were one of the first real indy upstarts (Very Italian family, if you catch my drift), and were soon involved in major films, etc, and the promotional ball was seriously dropped in Lion's case. They should have been huge! So much talent in one band!
linkin park's version of the transformers theme sucks! lion's version of the original transformers theme is AWESOME!!!!!! FUCKK MAINSTREAM THEY RUIN EVERYTHING FOR MONEY!
@thatmetalguy85 sooo true, but you must not forget that this music was 'mainstream' music in the 80's. with other words popmusic :p sounds really bad..
Linkin Park NEVER did a version of the transformers theme by the way. New Divide/Iredescent are NOT transformers themes. Just in the movies. Black Lab/Mutemath however DID do the transformers themes.
Just AWESOME. Back in 1989, when I was in high school, I covered this song with my school band. Good old memories... Doug Aldrich and Lion, You guys were GREAT!!!

People like Kai's voice?
Why? Seriously..I dont get it. He sounds like any other generic 80's hair metal singer.

@ThieleM He sounds like any other generic 80s hair metal singer with a touch of DIO. Which makes him awesome.
