  • That's the law of nature...(or it's cannibalism)

  • Sea-Monkeys can't eat each other...

  • How can you tel betwen male and female Sea monkeys?

  • i dont think they are fighting

  • My Sea monkeys were defected. They were like stuck to each other.

  • LOL

  • ummm there not fighting just wait a bit and u will see the result of the "fight"

  • Very good footage but...they are mating.

  • (stupid questions i know) Do you have to change the water for sea monkeys? And can i put them

in the same water as my fish? Thanks!

  • i agree with the user niamarie 8 because it is true. they wrap around eachother.

  • Wow... Looks sorta violent.... lol.... wow... they are just so like humans xD

  • that's their mating routine

  • ermm ive got sea monkeys with the sea monkeys on moon my sea monkeys have been stuck together for 6 days now are they mating??

  • my sea monkys were never lively like that

  • sea moneky uncle i have most of my sea monkeys stuk together

and i alredy have about 100 monkyes what do i do

  • i have sea monkeys they were doing that &the people on line said they were mating so...

  • does it matter how old there food is becoase i just found my old sea monkey stuff and it has a full packet of food thats been like 3 years old casn i still use it?

  • sea monkey civil war

  • yea i used tap water, and they died 5 days after! so thats why they died, next time i will use spring water!

im going to buy anew kit this weekend :)

  • i think they are haveing sex

  • i put my sea monkeys in and then i can see anything.i put them in there just yesterday.. I CAN"T SEE THEM

  • of course you have to wait longer

  • they should hatch soon

  • u need to wait a few days sometimes

depending on water temperature the "eggs" hatch at different times

mine took 3 days till i could see them

  • lol, u sound impatient ^^ i bet u didnt wait 24 hours for the cleaning neutralisers to work

  • @ g4m3l4n3

these are sea monkeys dude... they dont burst out of their eggs and become adult size overnight...

  • aahah that made me laugh

  • THEN THEY DIDNT HATCH YET SMART ONE!

  • they're not fighting.

leave them alone for 9 months.

  • lol

  • there were three though...

  • how do you clean the tank when there are little sea mnkeys in there

  • if they are newborn babies dont changer then water. wait untill they are alot bigger. as long as you oxygenate the water they will be ok. If the water is cloudy and you have been feeding them stop feeding them untill the water cleares up. if when they are bigger you want to change the water you have to get another tank and fill it with bottle water then wait untill the temprature is the same as the original tank then use the sea monkey leash to tranfur them. I hope this helped

  • don't. wait till they get bigger. Then either remove them with a siphon to a temporary container, or just pour off half the water at a time, making sure not to pour out any monkeys. Then just repeat a couple of times.

  • You don't. that crap on the bottom is part of their environment.

  • You shouldn't clean the tank, Sea Moneys eat the algea that grows on/in the tank, silly.

  • you dont, or atleast i dont. stop feeding em for a couple of days and they'll eat all the wierd green stuff gorwing

  • do u know that big pump tube thingy u take the sea monkey out use that to clean the tank

  • its like dragon ball z! their in like a ball curled up bashing at each...so cool

  • hahaha

  • Wow! That IS a heck of a fight. My boys get into occasional fights, of course, but it's usually more of a "I got you in a chokehold now let her go she's mine" kind of thing where three of them swim around in a line (or, more rarely, a directionless blob) for a while. Thought I was going to lose one after a drawn-out fight a couple of days, though. (I moved him into a different, less-populated tank, and he's very recovered and very happy now. :3 )

  • ummmmmm they said that it might look violent but they are mating

  • if you look closely, you see that there are 3 sea monkeys. 2 (mae;) are trying to grab the female. XP

  • good footage!

  • sea moneky uncle i have most of my sea monkeys stuk together

and i alredy have about 100 monkyes what do i do

  • my sea monkeys are FINALLY growing! but my mom THREW AWAY the plasma! are my sea monkeys going to be ok without the plasma?

  • can I use filtered fridge water?

  • My mom asks what are they?

  • They are Artemia Salina or Brine Shrimps.

  • My colleagues gave me some sea-monkeys for my birthday (I wanted a real monkey but my boss said no) that I'm rearing at work. It's going really well... the stupid boys I work with though want to raise some giant triops and have a deathmatch... help!

  • Sea-Monkeys can survive plain water for a while, but Triops will not stand a chance in salt water. There's no a fair arena for such a match.

  • Thank goodness... I will tell them that and hopefully they will leave all the Oscar II's (they're all named Oscar II) alone!

  • is it ok to put tap water in there

  • Put only distilled, bottled or filtered water.

  • Can I use tap water conditioner for fishes.

I own two goldfishes and two bettas.

To clean dechlorinate their water I use the same conditioner which I bought in PetSmart.

I was hopping I could use it, but I think the chemicals will harm them.

  • I think it is ok to use it as long as your tap water doesnt contains other high concentrations of harmfull chemicals like ammonia.

  • Hmmm...

Well, is a TOP FIN, Water conditioner.

Oh, and when I said ''Can I use tap water conditioner for fishes'' I meant for sea-monkeys.

  • I do, but my water isn't from a city water system, it's pumped from a well here on my property. I also boil the water in the microwave first to make sure it's clean, then let it cool for a few hours.

  • how many days do they have to be to mate?

  • Aprox. 2-3 weeks

  • wow look at them go at it!

  • Hey, seamonkeyuncle, im a keen grower i just wondered, when will all the growth packets come to enngland shops, im william aged: ten.

I love to take my seamonkeys to school to share with all my friends, your really good at doing seamonkeys too!

  • can i put it in a clean jar?I just wanted a better container so i can bring it along with the jar covered

  • I prefer, new jars. Not washed with soap and not used before for food or detergents.

  • oo not too happy! I love your tank! I was wondering if I was to use a new tank, could I use the water from my regular tank and just add distilled water ? or will I need more purifier. Please reply via message, and check out my video I just added, thankyou!

  • They need to live in their exact salty formula. If you want to add more water, you should add one packet of Living Plasma or Water Purifier for every 5 - 6 ozs. of DISTILLED, bottled, not fizzy water. I recommend at least one of the packets to be Water Purifier, to eliminate any contaminants.

  • Thanks very much! :-)

  • What's living plasma?

  • Its an additive to enrich the formula with salts and minerals. It encourage their growth rate and longevity.

  • No u dont. i looked at the site just add pureified water to the tank and they're fine.
