Pretty slow but an interesting character portrait. It's kind of like being a fly on the wall in someone's life. If you are in the right mood you will enjoy it.

If you know anybody with epilepsy, then understand that when they have a seizure their brain is receiving electrical charges. If it's a really bad seizure, then the person literally loses control of their limbs. my sister has grand mal seizures (really bad ones) and it really feels like she's going to explode when she has a seizure.

My media class and I went to see this film at the film festival and every one of our class said it was a very boring film with a few good shots and the director didn't have a clue why he decided to make it and what inspired him. Even our lecturers said the film was boring and that's coming from people who have worked in the media business all their lives! Maybe our class was just too critical but no director should answer a Q&A question with "I don't know", it just shows you're unprepared.

AMAZING MOVIE! everything is very subtle but the fact that her epilepsy is in the title puts an underlying tension on the whole movie that i'm guessing is meant to reflect the reality of living with epilepsy. that's just my non-medical opinion but i really enjoyed the film.

This is a beautiful film that quietly tells its very small story between the lines. The dialogue is very real and un-script-like and only serves to develop its characters. The real story is told within the characters minds through looks, quiet moments, etc. Fantastic, unique film.

My sister has epilepsy and I wake up every morning worrying incase she has a seizure. It's scary how many people don't know or understand what epilepsy is. I stumbled across this trailer and I am very glad I have. I'm happy that this movie has been made as it will really show how tough epilepsy is, and not just on the victim, but their family and friends. I hope people really become aware of how scary and tough this kind of thing can be. My respect goes out to those who suffer with epilepsy <3

I would like to suggest that puerile subject matter in movies might be rendered more interesting simply through the avoidance of background music on the soundtrack. Or, viewers (this viewer, anyway) might be enticed to see a movie if the movie's trailer avoided background music. I don't know why, but such music has a deadening effect on the emotions, possibly because it preys too easily on said emotions.

I don't know if you've actually watched it, or if you've only watched the trailer, but the movie itself has little to no background music. Even when they listen to music in headphones, the viewer can only hear a muffled song. So yeah, just thought I'd throw that out there. Maybe you'd enjoy it. Maybe not. I did though.
