  • now you just know this guy gets poon hourly. great song, great voice,

  • ohhhmg. its so great live.

  • great!

  • thumbs up if you think, that Luke and The Kooks are the best at singing acoustic.

  • thumbs up if you think luke is amazing!(:

  • @TheSileroms maybe you went for the thumbs to much :D

  • Is the mic autotuned? this sounds really really clear compred to the other live versions?

  • @SammySpeaksUp Yeah it is.

  • @SammySpeaksUp Probably not. It's just Luke with a guitar inside an empty room. There's complexity compared to a full-band performance and less to absorb the sound.

Plus, if it was auto-tuned, he wouldn't have missed that falsetto at 2:00.

  • @Chickenjuggle The autotune snaps to the nearest tone. so if he missed to much beside the the real tone it would be a wrong one even though its autotuned.

  • @SammySpeaksUp: No it doesn't. Autotune works in regards to whatever key the song is in. Had he been using it, that note in the bridge would have been punched correctly. And then they would have edited it again before releasing it on the internet.

  • @Chickenjuggle There are different kinds of autotune, the ones used for live performing fx. Id does snap to the nearest key in that scale the song is in.

  • @SammySpeaksUp: 1. No there aren't. You might be using a different program, but it's the same thing.

    2. Again, the autotune is set to match the song's key before the song begins. Missed notes will then be corrected in both pitch and key.

  • @Chickenjuggle Lets say the song is written in Cmajor so CDEFGAB. If he sings a messes up note anywhere in the song a bit for example sings a note right below C it will automaticly make it a clean C. Autotuned isn't set to follow the song through and correct every note in live performances.

It would be impossible to time the guitar to the program that way.. Auto Tuning in live performances snaps to the nearest note.

  • @SammySpeaksUp: The guitar has nothing to do with it, though it would actually be quite easy to time it and the autotune program with a click track. And this "snapping to the nearest note" is the same thing as what I've been saying; you're just playing with the semantics.

  • @Chickenjuggle If you are saying the same as im saying why tf are we arguingg?

  • @SammySpeaksUp: Because we're TROLLS.

  • @Chickenjuggle Maybe a little bit.

  • Great guitar sound and a superb voice.

  • what? 3 people missed the like button... it's not that hard.. btw...love this song :)

  • what are the chords for this version?

  • intro- open g, bar c, bar g, bar c

    verse- bar g,bar c6, a minor, b minor, bar c

    chorus-open g,d, a minor, c, d,, e minor, c, a minor, c, d,back to open g

post chorus - e minor, d, b minor, bar c, bar g, (move 1st finger up to F# for last bit.)

then he goes e minor to oepn g and then a minor to open g for a little bit back to the ending chorus =)

  • thanx dude)

  • @hunayboy22 Champion

  • @hunayboy22 what do you mean with "bar"?

  • @jjozeto that it's a bar chord ... not C6 played "usually" with open strings but played on 3rd (or 8th or whatever) fret using bar chord
