When I fought Giratina on my second playthrough of Pt...it was an epic battle. I switched from my Staravia to my Luxray over and over to weaken Shadow Force, and Empoleon walled the bastard. Rapidash Bounced the crap out of it, and Luxray Crunched it. It was a long and climactic battle, and we were victorious.

For some reason I thought Pokemon Platinum,was one of the only Pokemon games to have this dark felling,think of it like Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask + Twilight Princess and Mother 1,2 and 3,but I got to say Giratina was the most darkest/scariest and most disturbing pokemon ever,kids if you ever see reflections with Giratina's dimension in it,run like hell,because Gieuge/Giyga's monster/pet is coming a reflection to you!

Ironically, the plot of R/S/E is actually more vicious than D/P/Pt, since while Cyrus wants to rebuild the world, and sure kill everyone on it, the deaths will be quick. R/S/E, massive amounts of flooding, extreme drought, or the combination of both leading to an extremely lethal tropical storm will lead to everyone dying, Painfully. With no chance of the world being rebuilt.
