The counttry of Panama, its people, and culture appears to be a wonderful place to live. I'm a African American woman, 43 years old, and desire to visit. It's a good thing when people take pride in their identity, culture, and history. I'm going to go to the library to look for books on Panama and take advantage of internet research.

The Spaniards didn't "discover" it, it doesn't tell about the RACIST laws the US put there,the "San Blas" is really Kuna Yala,it doesn't tell about the MILLIONS of animals and plants killed during the flooding of "Gatun and Madden lakes",and that "George Washing Goethals" was a racist named after a slave holder in the U.S. As usual to Americans' preference, history is told in omissiion and disreguard for the FULL FACTS.

What hogwash this video is. It is what I've learned in Native american History,to be called "the romanticized version"It fails to mention EVERY oppressive act the United States has started in Panama, from the flag riots in 1964, the war where 4000 Panamanian civilians died,were buried in 16 mass graves found to date, killed execution style from babies to elderly, Choco is really Cho-co-eh,not "Indian"
